Never ever shop or eat at Ben Thanh market , since the rent is very expensive there so everything costs more than everywhere else in SGN + some vendors try to overcharge the tourists .

Try Com Tam Nguyen Van Cu if you are still in HCM. It is not too far from Ben Thanh market. You will enjoy the rice dishes. Ben Thanh market is not a place to eat. It is a tourist trap. The vendors source the cooking out & they don't cook themselves.

72,000vnd for a coffee is very expensive. 😳 Normally around 15-20,000vnd

Two of the dishes and a drink shouldn’t cost D16000. Did u guys used the wet wipes? The D 20000 each. I was in Vietnam 2013 perhaps the prices has changed. Next time eat at a small restaurant on the street . they r a lot cheaper . The market is a tourist trap.
