No one was buried in the catacombs of Paris
When they were enlarging the city in the 1800s they Dug up cemetery’s to make room for buildings/infrastructure and relocated the the skeletons removing them from the coffins and placing them in the old mines that were under the city.
Nobody died and was immediately placed in the catacombs they were long dead and decomposed.
