Visited Bratislava for the first time today and this city should definitely make it to your list !
Very good value for money as well
Croatia is beautiful. But the people have no manors and rarely smile lol. Must be thT Eastern European culture
ОтветитьÅlesund Norway
ОтветитьI would not go to all of these places. Becuz of some crime and scammer issues.
ОтветитьHave you been to Bratislava? We have and it might be one of those "hidden gem" cities
ОтветитьThanks for the video. Very well done! I can suggest some underrated cities in Italy. Ferrara, Padova, Ravenna....
ОтветитьHidden gem:Wroclaw in Poland! Stunning
ОтветитьKrakow took my breath away!❤
ОтветитьI stayed in Larnaca, and not even a beach person. But was cool to be a block from Lazarus Cathedral.
ОтветитьWe are retired, and slow traveling in search of our favorite retirement city. We will be traveling the next few years in Latin America. The problem we have with these countries is cost of living compared to Latin America. We still may visit but compare them to say Colombia and they can be anywhere from 30%-120% more expensive. Are they 100% better in quality of life ? Maybe…I don’t know….yet.
Ответитьsuper
ОтветитьHi. If you want hidden gem, instead of Paphos in Cyprus, how about Nicosia in Cyprus. Both the southern Greek Cypriot side and the northern Turkish side. Yeah, it is a bit on the expensive side, but it's warm welcoming and quite small for a capital. Look up 1974 war and you'll know why its partitioned.
ОтветитьI had the same thoughts in the beginning about Poland but ended up loving it and seriously thinking about going to live there, there are many amazing cities there, Gdansk & Gdynia, Warsaw , Poznan, and my favourite Wroclaw, also if you've time try to go to the mountains in the south, Zakopane is soooo beautiful in autumn🍁☘🌺🍁
ОтветитьTromso Norway?
ОтветитьAdd Sarajevo!
ОтветитьDon’t get too close to the Ukrainian you might be forced into battle!
ОтветитьWhat? An Americano explains us Europe and comes up with Zagreb, Paphos and Budapest? What a crap! This guy should travel and shut up!
ОтветитьI recently visit Budapest, I saw the Csardas Princess performance in Opereta House. Zagreb and his Old Town is amaizing. Krakow and his Wawel Dragon castle is lovable.
ОтветитьBefore I war I did an exchange trip to Ukraine back in 2017 and I must say Kyiv is still my favorite city i've ever been to. I've been to most major Canadian and American cities and doing a trip to europe next week for two and a half weeks and i'll definitely be adding Budapest to my list.
ОтветитьTirana or Sarajevo are marvelous city breaks that dont break the bank
ОтветитьHow is Budapeste underrated or a hidden gem? Maybe for americans...😅
ОтветитьRegensburg, Germany. Easily accessible by rail from Munich airport, this college town is virtually untouristed by Americans (except those few Viking river cruises that stop by). It’s completely manageable on foot, has the best beer gardens I’ve been to, and a picture perfect medieval old town that was untouched by the Eighth Air Force and RAF. perfect beer, perfect architecture, delicious food, and uncrowded! Loved it.
ОтветитьAs a commentator, please expand your vocabulary from "super" and "cool."
ОтветитьWrocław in Poland
ОтветитьWhat about Edinburgh, Barcelona or Venice if we're talking hidden gems in Europe that nobody knows about?
ОтветитьGo to Tallinn, Estonia! Best old town in Europe for me, and you can do an amazing day trip to Lahemaa national park
ОтветитьI've been wanting to visit Poland for a while. But.. no one else is interested in going to Poland..
ОтветитьI knew before clicking this vid he was going to name rated cities 😂 Americans man
ОтветитьGreat list and very concise and informative mini guides of each on it's own interesting and beautiful yet underrated cities that deserve a lot more attention including our own capital Zagreb that I always enjoy to visit and hang around.
I've also visited breathtaking Krakow, fairytale Ljubljana, always interesting Budapest and I can completely agree with you!
Prague, if you go to any city in Europe Prague is the best.....😉
ОтветитьThe camps site in Poland looks like the scene in X-Men the young Magneto
Ответитьmy left ear enjoyed this video
ОтветитьTurin and Antwerp ❤
ОтветитьLoved Zagreb, Lbjiana, Wrocław, Gdansk.
ОтветитьFor Zagreb you didn't mention uptown! Next time, hit me up, I have a lovely apartment there in the center ☺️
ОтветитьHonestly said, as person, which visited cca 80% of capitals of Europe, i do not recommend Zagreb for visiting, if you are in Croatia, go to Sibenik, Dubrovnik, Rovinj or Split. If you travel to central Europe, and looking for Capital citis, i would reccomend like this: Prague, Budapest and Vienna on same level. You can not make a mistake by choosing any of them, but always meet a different culture - Slavic Germanic and this very specific Hungarian :D. Just passed Bratislava. Lubjana is nice for one day, small but cute.. Belehrad is in comparism with Zagreb very nice and Sarajevo is small, but already feel this ,,oriental" culture which is quiet unique in Europe... :-) To Paphos i never been to and Krakow i visited like 10 times, very nice...
ОтветитьBrügge abd Gent are amazing:)
ОтветитьNo offence but Budapest is not in the center of Europe. Prague in Czech Republic is in the center of Europe.
ОтветитьI give you credit for pronouncing Budapest perfectly but it’s not a hidden gem. Budapest receives about 30 million tourist each year and numbers are growing
ОтветитьAthens! Such a lovely city.
ОтветитьI'd add Utrecht in the Netherlands to the list. Greetings from Rio.
ОтветитьWrocław, Poland. If you come here, I can show you around 😊
ОтветитьPoland is nice indeed but would say Wroclaw is a more underrated city then Krakow
ОтветитьGo to Hintertupfingen in Germany
ОтветитьCentral Europe 💪
ОтветитьCan’t wait to check out these cities…….going to Budapest this December. My favorite hidden gem is Bratislava. Spent a number of trips there in 2012 for work, fell in love with it & the people.
ОтветитьI have been to 4 of the 5 places you mention.
Yes, yes, yes to Budapest, Ljubliana, Zagreb, and Krakow.
I have been to Cyprus, but not to Paphos. I have been to Larnaca, though, and enjoyed it.
Hidden gems you didn't mention:
[1] Ghent in Belgium. People seem to go to Bruges, Brussels, and Antwerp, but not Ghent. Wonderful place.
[2] Arras in France. Just an hour from Paris by TGV [high speed train]. Beautiful architecture.
Try Cluj-Napoca, the best city in Romania
ОтветитьHmm. I would add Belgrade definitely! I am not sure if we count it as Europe, but I do so I will add Yerevan too. Definitely some Russian cities too if I am allowed to do that. In general though Western Europe= extremely overrated, and Eastern Europe= underrated, with a few exceptions though of course.
ОтветитьDonastia (San Sebastian) would definitely make my list of hidden gems along with Lyon (though this is pretty mainstream for Europeans)
