By the way I find the Koss Porta Pro better than many headphones on this tier list! I couldn't hear any differences to the Beyerdynamic DT 880 (250 Ohm)!

I had a chance to try the Focal Clear vs the 800, the Meze 109s some Audezes. I have to say they sounded unnatural, forced. Really disliked the. The 800 were so revealing but not too textured or rhythmic. Now the Meze 109 there is an S tear. Natural, textured, integrated super luxurious without being gody .

I think you did this list before you reviewed the Meze. Where would you put them on this list?

I think you should take the price out of the equation. Something could end up higher tier because it is dirt cheap being made in some gulag. We want to know quality, not price.

talking about fidelio x2hr, did you refer to 50 mm driver ones or the 40 mm driver ones?

Time to reevaluate this list for sure with updated prices & models.

I'm using the Sundaras with a Topping DX3 Pro+ ... I love the experience.
I don't have any experience with super high-end to compare it to, but I do believe the value have been great!

I personally think its insane you didnt even include Sennheiser HD25's - Literally a product that is that same today as it was when they were created in 1988. Thats 32 YEARS. Unchanged. Should be on top of this entire pile.

Perhaps we can get an update tot he tier list. maybe add the t50rp, t40rp, t20rp and DT 770 pro, DT 990 pro, DT 990 premium (600 ohm)... Other things. HD650. M 1070(C). Monolith AMT.

I bet if you did these same cans again now 2 years later, you would make a few changes. Many price changes and quality updates to some of these since then. I own all but 3 of the cans in this list and my tier list is slightly different. But then I guess that's why they call it subjective ; )

I really wish I liked Sennheiser but ive now ordered and returned 2 of them and they are just so fucking uncomfortable!!

I'm so happy the Sundaras managed to hit A tier. Looking at the other headphones up there and their costs, it's really impressive what Hifiman manages to provide for like $350.
