That is such an awesome easel. I have all hand made easels. But today I had to actually place a S shaped hook to my center chain and attach a small pan to it in order to act as counter balance. Because I am working on a large painting and it kept tilting and moving as I painted. Luckily for me I am blessed with the ability to see any easel and make a working model. I also can add features and improvements. I havent yet made a double mass. I actually figured a to allow the top and bottom to accomidate a painting end to end at 36" I placed a canvas on it and it handled it just fine. I also made a wall mounted easel that tilts in and out. I can take any easel and add improvements that the designers leavd out or fail to acknowledge because only a true artist that is in the fieldknows what tge needs and functions are desired. I like this easel. Thumbs up.

This item, "Santa Fé ii" is impressively splendid, the real "Rolls Royce´s Easels" (the only accessory worth changing, are the casters, which are very simple), fortunately, is made in Brazil and here for us it costs an unbelievable price of around U $ 4OO, °°, thanks for the very review complete and quite enlightening.

All wood is a sustainable resource

It's stunning how an almost $1.000 easel have casters that cost maybe $5, they are useless weak and be prepared to change them almost immediately after you purchase the easel.

How low off the ground can the pulleys take the easel? I am short and often sit while painting, can I adjust the easel low enough to do that ?
