I have slipping rib on both sides 😭😭😭 its so painful. Wish i could afford surgery.
ОтветитьIt is better to apply pressure bilaterally then patient can feel pain with rib compression only on affected side.
ОтветитьWow Trevor you changed a lot since this video - congrats on the transition
ОтветитьWhat about the ribs in back, the floating ribs ? Mine never hurt in front.
ОтветитьSo I think my floating rib is popping out. Usually it happens when I am bending over and straining my right arm. Pulling on something while bent over. It hurts like a mother and I can usually subside the pain my relaxing and rotating on my hands and knees. I have gone to my primary doctor and she is convinced its my gallbladder done ultrasounds that they believe confirms this, but y pain is triggered by movement not what I eat?
ОтветитьOh, I googled this because by ex punched me in the back some ten years ago and since then I experience pain under my right spatula, is if my spine was to be popped like when you turn around to pop it when you pop the bubbles of air inside joonts, but this one won't ever pop, just feel like it could use a pop and sometimes it hurts very much. But recently I was in an orthopedic practice with hip pain, and I also metioned this pain, but they checked only the hip and the doctor told me that the salvation to that hip is that I don't gain weight (I'm 60kgs currently) and dismissed any other complaint, so I don't really want to go there again. Som that is what I was googling and found this video and realised that I can click both my front lower ribs and at will, even without using hands and I was capable of that since childhood, it kind of tickles from indide my rib cage and doing the click helps ease that feeling. And now by using the hooking on myself and pulling on the ribs and sloghtly pressing up and out, I somehow eased the under spatula pain.
ОтветитьSo can a physical therapist do this test on me? My doctor did X-ray and echo and ekg and they all came back normal. So he basically thinks it’s posture and my work is to blame (muscle strain basically) but I think it’s slipping rib syndrome. He referred me to a physical therapist. Can a PT diagnose this?
ОтветитьBut why can I not find a single good video so far that explains how a rib cage should feel on your own hands. Anyone know?
I’m getting so frustrated, forgive me. But can anyone try to explain it to me. There’s a super hard thing that I can only describe as maybe one rib stuck behind the one above it on my left side. I just wanna know what I’m really necessarily feeling for. Like literally feel with my hands, what should my hands be feeling for when I go under and push under and up. Or can anyone try to direct me to a video or website that can really help me along with maybe pictures, videos or the steps in general. Please and thankyou it would mean a lot.
I think i have this but i’m not sure because I don’t think my rib slips or pops I honestly don’t even know how that has to feel because i do feel something
ОтветитьThen what?!? :)
ОтветитьMy doctor did this and it clicked and I screamed and almost kicked him :,) I am so sorry to that doctor
ОтветитьI think I’m going to be checked by a doctor as I keep getting pain in rib and when I move it feels like some of my rib is slipping and I’ve felt it as I’ve moved and it pops😴
ОтветитьNon of the indian doctor do this test
ОтветитьQuestion: what if the pain is in the back and a rib higher up?
ОтветитьI have this syndrome and it's extremely painful. I suggest for the treating physio to proceed very slowly and carefully, only use minimal pressure required to diagnose, it won't take much as you will essentially be pushing the patients rib end through the muscle and tissue to the skin.
