So, if you don’t graduate from top 1% of Korea’s university, you can’t get a job at certain companies!😂😂😂😂Who does that? There needs to be diversity in decision making for a company to be great and successful! Some of the best business people are the street smart ones, something books can’t teach nor expose the most brilliant minds with! Humans need to be all rounders to be sharp and equipped to make great decisions in all aspects of life. There’s nothing more I hate, than being around a book smart person with very little everyday intellect. They can’t relate and they often struggle with being happy and satisfied. BALANCE is key ⚖️

It's funny how Korean keep focusing on accent. It really doesn't matter as long as others can understand you

And the frenzy of having English name. Like why?
I know the main purpose is because westerners have difficulty in pronouncing the names but still not necessarily.

english is a weird language. i got shamed for spelling sean as seen not shaun by my classmate. my classmate had internet and was fairly well to do. his parents were good. he was exposed to all stuff english and world culture. meanwhile i was doing worse but i didnt know. poor background and yet studying at school with no parental support for education at home is asignificant setback and no amount of academy classes or tuitions would prepare if they are not into it. So its upto each one of us to do well despite everything else. so having said that my confidence and self esteem was lower than the usual or if not then i became concious of it and went silent. i didnt know the fact that english history and the french norman invasion made things tough for me and my personal well being so if i knew this before hand i would have prepped well to know more about languages as to whether they were phonetic or not. korean seemingly looks phonetic but many pronunciation rules make it hard as it is not what it looks like the characters and the spelling make different sounds.

Do koreans just randomly choose English names they feel comfortable with because of the difficulty in pronouncing their Korean names or are these names part of their actual names?
