Can get to his level within a month imho. problem here is that Thailand have made weed legal & it affects everybody different & then you get situations like this (edit: he did say Yabba also - the "crazy drug" but that's an amphetamine). Going by his saffron coloured "robes" I would say he has probably been staying at a Buddhist temple & he sounds like he is doing Buddhist prayers at points.
