Inkscape Cropping - Crop Image Crop to Content

This doesn’t work for me, when I select one thing the other one deselects

Trying to remove some wording from a photo invitation. Still confused after watching your video

after I crop, the image doesnt print. im creating images on mugs for sublimation. how do i fix this? I tried exporting to png but then my print quality became pixelated.

This is not cropping, this is clipping, totally different thing.

yet when u try to print it .
it doesnt print anything just the regular unclipped images do

As someone who is new at using this software, this is one of the odd ways of cropping an image, and it shouldn't have to take all of that.

How do you select both ?? especially if one is the same size as the other

I do wish there was more detail for absolute beginners. All I can get is a colored blotch, it does not make only the selected parts of the image reappear in it's place after clip and set. What am I not getting?

i dont get why there aint a strait up crop image tab.... you have all them tabs and power in one software and no crop tab its bazar

you know it you make a video make sure you explain EVERY F..THINK AND NOT LETTING OUT THE IMPORTANT PART LIKE "" HOLD DOWN SHIFT" SO YOU CAN SELECT 2 OF ITEMS

i don't get it. I tried doing as you instructed, but it doesn't crop when I hit the set button. The circle that I drew around the object just stays there.

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I spent some minutes trying to simply crop my image. This is ridiculous and trashy. Inkspace development community should rethink about this feature asap.

STRAIGHT TO THE POINT IS GOOD, BUT YOU NEGLECTED TO SAY WHERE YOU ACCESSED THE TOOL TO CROP. NOT HELPFUL.

Seems like an awful way to crop as youre covering what your trying to crop so youre precision is going to be crap
