ОтветитьXin Chao! Since you mentioned Fidelity, have you tried using their debit card to withdraw cash at the ATM? Do you know the total transaction fee that Fidelity and the ATM bank charge? Thank you much!
ОтветитьDo you need passport to exchange money?
ОтветитьTRC??!
ОтветитьIs Revolut worth there?
ОтветитьI saw Ally online banking accounts charge no foreign transaction fees...
ОтветитьI used Mai Vân when I was there in October. I would add that there was a big queue spilling onto the road, with scooters only just missing me. As I waited in the queue had to put up with touts as well. I miss it.
ОтветитьThank you for the update
ОтветитьTHANK YOU for the info and tips. I will be traveling there in 2 weeks. Super excited about the trip but a little apprehensive about how things work there. So THANK YOU for sharing this video!
ОтветитьBoring video
ОтветитьI usually exchange in my home country… about 10 million for a good nest. After that it’s all ATM. And yes, it is true, you spend more when you always have cash in your wallet
ОтветитьBtw.. have you used Remitly for transfers?
ОтветитьI still don't get why people would even want to bring a thousand dollars cash over? Every time I've gone I just use my Schwab debit card to draw cash out of any ATM as I need it.
And by the way, I do not see in the description where you listed the bank where you can get a checking account on an e Visa.
Thanks
How much is the exchange rate at the bank? How much is the exchange rate at the jewelry store?
ОтветитьChris, how in the world do people live in a country
like Vietnam with all those millions of motorcycles and cars
honking and shit. It seems so chaotic and dangerous.
I've never been to Vietnam and by the look of it,
I don't think want to go there. But if you are happy there, I
am happy for you man!! Peace~
Bring $100 notes or you will get lower exhange rate.
ОтветитьI will be in HCMC and Hanoi from November 7th to the 15th do you think $2000 usd will be enough?

Ответить24580 just now . . . not good for VND earners
ОтветитьMan thanks for this info my man
I need this info and much appreciated it Chris
I have tried 4 different banks whilst on 30 day evisa , 4 times I was told no
Ответитьwill they take cad
ОтветитьWhat bank can you open a bank account with and get a debit card on an Evisa?
ОтветитьThe difference among jewelry shops is negligible, it's not worth it to shop around. What's important is their rates are always higher than banks or whatever an app tells you. Also, they'll exchange any bills but will give you a lower rate for old/crumpled or lower denomination ones. From experience, Vietcombank and Timo/Viet Capital have the strictest rules for foreigners; VP Bank is relatively lax.
ОтветитьJust got a bank account this year, been here many times and brought cash with no problems, you have to be able to manage your money well, never lost any money, but I would not recommend to others. Exchange money at local jewelry stores.
Ответить7.15 is it one of the constructed metro station stop? Damm! I‘m heartedly looking forward to the day this bloody metro works😅😅😅😅!
ОтветитьWhen I went in summer jewelry stores gave me the best rate. Gave me slightly over what Google said I should get. Also they only accept new hundred dollar bills
ОтветитьVery good video , i like Agri-bank ATM they only charge 22,000 for a withdrawal , but has a limit on how much you can take out , using a Visa debit
ОтветитьMai Van and Ha Tam were not giving the best rates about two weeks ago. Kim Huy Jewelry along the street were giving a better rate. Best to shop around. Also depends on how much you are changing.
ОтветитьViet government has banned foreign exchange outside of using a bank for ten days
ОтветитьGood Live Stream last Night…Still Top G…Saigon, Vietnam 🇻🇳 😅
ОтветитьBro, I was in Vietnam for almost 1 year in 2019 - 2020 and Ha Tam jewelry was the one that had like 30-40 people waiting in line.. Mai Van only had a few people there.. I was going to Ha Tam every few weeks.
ОтветитьWhat’s exchange rate at Mai Vân?
ОтветитьChris, great video....ty!
ОтветитьGood tips, I was in Vietnam 3 weeks ago…wish I would had this video beforehand
ОтветитьSmashed the like button
ОтветитьI used the Citibank ATM at the Central Park. Was allowed 6.6Million per transaction for $3. Now in Da Nang I can only 2Million per transaction. I’ve spent £1000 in a fortnight but I have gone full tourist 😂 for instance … I set up Grab on my phone and paid cash (with a tip) then noticed I was paying direct out of bank as well 😂😂
