VRChat - How To Disable Finger Tracking with Avatar 3.0 (Valve Index)

thank you so much, even though i had the exact opposite problem of wanting finger tracking instead of an animation the video helped immensely, i tried for hours without progress and now i feel stupid because it was just a simple checkbox i had to click

Thanks for the tutorial! I've noticed this seems to cause any other animations associated with the hand gesture to stop working (for example, I would have my ears go down when I do the fist gesture). Is there a workaround for this?

i followed the tutorial 100% and my fingers dont move at all in vrc now. hm...

when i get the valve index i say this "ha you can do the middle finder!"

i have a valve index and sometimes i have to do rock and roll to do fx and it kinda ruins the role play sometimes

Is there a way to have the lower legs animated (humanoid)? Or even feet. I seen a few avatars that are humonoid have their feet ankled in a specific way.

So, is there a way to do this for Avatars Favorited ingame?

I don't have the gesture layer. Mine goes "base, action, FX" just made sure my SDK was updated. Does any one know how I managed to fuck that up?

Could u do a tutorial for disabling hand animations for pulling out toggled item?
I see some 3.0 avatars pull out an item and have their own unique hand pose it freezes on until you toggle the item back off. I found those so cool and i cant seem to find a tutorial on it

Now, to find a way to use the index track pill to do gesture overrides

albeit i could just disable gestures the manual way but i wanna keep my hands doing their poses :/
