Didn't Capcom outsource the Remakes to a third party company ???
ОтветитьI would appreciate if someone can help me. I've Resident Evil 2 Remake on Steam. The old dx11 version use to run fine but ever since the next gen update, the game blurs whenever I'm moving Leon/Claire. Motion blur is set to off so I don't why it still blurs when moving mouse.
ОтветитьI've been playing both RE2 and 3 Remakes using DX11 and DX12 with my RX 6750XT and haven't seen or felt issues. I get great performance with either rendering mode: around 120fps average at 4K (and smooth frame pacing) with Alex's optimised settings and no RT. But if I activate RT on high I barely get around 75fps at 1440p with bad frame pacing (constant stutters from time to time, and I have a Freesync Premium Pro monitor but the stutters can be felt anyway)
ОтветитьYou using interlacing on the pc and wonder why the game looks bad? i dont get it.
ОтветитьThe update feels more like its catered to 3000 series RTX cards.
I ran tests from a 1060, 2060, and a 3070 and only the 3070 performed better under DX12 and worse on DX11
Pretty unfortunate they couldnt make DX12 work on older cards
The distant animations looked fine to me lol. Started playing this recently on steam with 3060ti and it's fine! Very fun game
ОтветитьAny updates since? I tried RTX on at 1440p with my 3060 and didn’t notice much of a difference either
ОтветитьАwesome graphics! The best Resident Evil 2 only on PC.
ОтветитьIf this fixed? I'm still playing the non RTX version.
ОтветитьAs some one who had played on console most of my life I'm actually happy with 144 fps with everything set at high.
But as I get used to it on a 1,000 pc I can see why the complaints are coming.
Honestly I don't see a massive difference with RT on with my 6700XT. I was hoping that the implementation would be more like how RT is in Control, which looks really awesome.
ОтветитьI can’t tell the difference lol
ОтветитьSo PS5 is the best one to play on
ОтветитьI wonder if this has anything to do with the mod support, many people disliked the update because it became unusable with pc mods
ОтветитьDx12 washes out my colors. Do anyone else have this problem? If so do anyone know how to fix it?
ОтветитьStill got fps drops if you look the zombie from far
ОтветитьI was disturbed that I bought new GPU just few months ago and my pc is giving 10-15 fps but after I know that new version is problem then I feel relaxed
ОтветитьI know this happened months ago, but I tried to play both RE2 and 3 yesterday and they look horrible. I played them like a year ago and they looked good, now it looks like a ps3 game and I don't know why. I have a 5700xt, could anyone help me?
ОтветитьThey never fixed it btw if you're wondering lmao
ОтветитьModern gaming has turned into one big scam with purposely unoptimized, soulless, broken video games to make customers buy new overpriced pc parts and\or consoles.
ОтветитьRaytracing is only puddles reflecting things. Developers don't need ray tracing, they can use cube mapping, to apply to certain surfaces. Of course is easier to just activate the raytracing instead to work on cube mapping for specific surfaces, but it's not such a great deal.
ОтветитьI hope capcome releases a new patch to fix the graphical issues in the near future for RE2!
ОтветитьDoubt Capcom will touch these games again. Maybe in a few decades fans will have patched them into proper shape.
ОтветитьCapcom needs to get their sh*t together, their RT or even SSR implementation are sh*t on PC. If you’re implementing RT, you better fully utilize it or else you’ll have little improvement to the graphics at a massive performance cost, seriously, what’s the f*cking point of RT if you don’t even bother to implement it on mirror/transparent reflections?!
ОтветитьJapan really doesn't like PC ports do they? 😆
ОтветитьRecommended graphics settings for RE2?
Whatever makes the knife do the most dmg.
They just give a fuck pc users hair textures on re villague are fucked
ОтветитьDecided to play the game again after awhile and noticed the game is doing like a auto brightness thing, does anyone know how to fix this??
ОтветитьThank you for making this video. Has this been fixed now?
ОтветитьHave these issues been fixed? On the fence between buying resident evil 3 for PC or ps5. Guess atleast that the VR mods are a great selling point for the PC version.
ОтветитьIs this fixed?
ОтветитьWhat about the old dx12 vs the new dx12 with fsr and rt off? Did they make the dx12 more fluent and stable? You know dx12 may be more used in the future, so please check if they optimize it?
ОтветитьRemember when they said they were delaying the PC release of Monster Hunter World 6 months to "do it right"? And it was one of the worst ports of any modern game after Dark Souls.
Capcom needs to outsource its PC ports. They used to be decently good at it back with MT Framework's original version (Lost Planet), and now they're so atrocious the PC versions are always the absolute worst versions of their games (sans locked framerates.. ignoring the negative mouse acceleration based on framerate anyway).
We're calling them "Crapcom" for a reason. It is entirely justified.
Just got a pc and I already have the game on ps4. I'll just play it on my ps5 instead of worrying about bad pc port. Sucks, was kind of wanting to play on pc.
ОтветитьI tried the demo using a 3080, its fine but you can definitely tell there's some bad jaggies.
Ответитьcapcom hates pc users and sony paid them to make a shittier version on PC or xbox
ОтветитьBefore this PC Patch i had around 80fps all the Time using AMD Vega64 GPU and Ryzen 3600. Don't know how it would perform now. 80fps on such an old GPU is still impressive
ОтветитьHas this been fixed?
Ответитьmakes sense. i redownloaded it recently on steam to try it out and it ran like utter shit on my new pc with better hardware than the one i had in 2021.
ОтветитьHey ALex I am getting MASSIVE slowdowns in re2 remake rt after changing settings. And if I change too much, I will crash.
The game is also underperforming and stuttering a bit. Especialyl if I change settings and play.
That is on 3080 at 4k
Top tier GPU’s have a hard time with RT. Makes it questionable why they bothered adding it to consoles.
Ответитьwhat TV are you using as monitor? a 75 inch at 1 meter distance from your eyes? no other explanation of why the fuck you would use 6K resolution
ОтветитьTAA seems to have been patched in re2 last week!
Although RT performance is terrible. On 3080, it goes as low as 30-40fps maxed out at 4k.
And yes. HBAO+ was also patched into rt version
And it seems to have memory leak as it gets very slow after changing some options or just even crashes
Damn, I turned on Ray Tracing the newly available video setting in this game. And for a long time it was not possible to wait for the whole game to crash on the windows desktop + I had quite large drops in FPS during the crash. My GPU: NVIDIA MSI RTX 3050 GAMING 8GB should be enough for this I think
ОтветитьThis is from last week:
- Fixed a bug in which the 'TAA' anti-aliasing graphics option was not functioning properly.
- Fixed a bug in which the 'Image Quality' graphics option was not functioning properly.
Hey just dropped in to let you know that capcom dropped a new update 2 days ago that apparently fixed TAA and image quality issues.
ОтветитьThey apparently fixed the TAA now. Sometimes it helps to have a backlog!
ОтветитьRuns fine on Xbox and PlayStation. Stop trying to build super computers and enjoy the game. I swear you people spend more time looking at graphics then actually playing games. All those clips look really good you have to zoom in and look extremely close to point all this shit your talking about. Pc players. Who cares if it’s a good game does it run 120 fps ray tracing. Go outside if you want realism
ОтветитьI've made a long graphics comparison video of the RE2 remake and it is quite disappointing indeed... for the most part, in some areas the change is very nice, but there are too many areas where the change doesn't justify the performance hit.
Also there are plenty of areas and objects where they didn't replace texture that previously used SSR with a actual reflective surface for the Raytracing to do its thing with.
So some textures end up looking very plain as a result, to be honest I'd rather have those poor quality SSR effects than no effects at all.
RE3 on the other hand is a slightly different matter...
Io gioco a 700 fps 🤔
