You always make it look so easy.
ОтветитьHey, i am facing one Problem with my BMP581 Sensor,it is on flex PCB ,now by mistake i gave connection no 6 instead of 7 ,how i can solve this issue,is there any chance that i can solve this issue , please guide me
ОтветитьTo over come glue issue , if apply 400deg c can get off chip nicely but ic spoiled which is removed from doner pcb ,
ОтветитьFrequently I have facing difficulty is, some makers they have applied glue below the ic , hard to judge whether lead not yet melted
well or glue still sticking hard , if force to get off , pcb track peel off , or what I have removed ic few pens bending unable to use this ic again , any idea pls 🙏
Pretty awesome, helpful, full of experience and much useful , thank you so much
ОтветитьAmazing job as always! Could you reuse the component on another board? Would you clean the old solder off somehow, or are the pins too delicate?
ОтветитьAnother Master at work. What a privilege to watch you work.
ОтветитьHi @mrsolderfix3996
Great video...I have a Samsung TQFP-160 S3C44B0X01 160 pin beast that needs removing and replacing on a board. I am not sure if I have the necessary skills that you have acquired and I'm not sure I am brave enough either. Do you undertake private work ?? I assume you are London based....Keep up the great work...and keep the wonderful videos rolling !! Thanks...
Tamprachar 340 Air ?
Ответитьart at this component level Sir
ОтветитьI tried it, good work
ОтветитьAwesome......Thank you!
ОтветитьAwesome!
Ответитьwhat about the adhesive on the aluminum tape? is that particular tape special for circuit boards ?
ОтветитьThanx sir
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this knowledge
ОтветитьBetween awesome video
ОтветитьHey I am new to fixing soldiering, what is the liquid you used? You said reflux something?
ОтветитьNice video, well done, keep it up, thanks for sharing it :)
Ответитьbut around 350-400c' desoldering heat broking the chip die, how did you protect chips from this hi-temps?
ОтветитьGreat video❤
ОтветитьThanks for sharing
ОтветитьThank you for all your lessons. I appreciate you
ОтветитьVery nice work. I am trying to up my SMT game, and your videos are helping a lot.
ОтветитьThanks, well presented. I need to practise more with hot air - I keep burning boards or melting surrounding parts before a part desolders. I’ll try out some aluminium tape!
ОтветитьTemperature 400 and air 80 ?
ОтветитьThankyou, your videos are just what i needed. I'm having difficulty resoldering in an ic on what looks like a ceramic pcb. I snipped half the legs off which sent a shockwave dislodging the pads on that side. So i can't solder to the substrate underneath, although it is conductive. The other side is ok as i just flexed the ic like a hinge until the oins snapped. I still have useable tinned pads on that side. I'm trying conductive glue on the padless side, but it's tricky as i messed up taking the weight off the ic too soon as it was curing. I bet you could sort it. If only i could send it to you...
ОтветитьGreat video! What is that you are using to apply the flux? I'm also curious if you think an IC with a large exposed ground pad on the bottom needs to be treated differently, or if the same method applies? Thanks for sharing. This is incredibly helpful.
ОтветитьWhat is the difference in using 138c and 180c solder. ICs dont go above 80 or 90C right, so can i use 138c solder on qfn and other smd?
ОтветитьHello Mr soldering
I have to say
You're the best ever
Congrats
Fron Venezuela 🇻🇪 south America
Have you tried the Qualitek flux from somersetsolders if so is it any good
ОтветитьWhat microscope do you use?
ОтветитьHi wow perfect.. can i ask what settings for Heat .. for hot air and soldering iron ??
Ответитьalways remove the lead fre rubbish solder :)
ОтветитьThank you for yet another informative video, while being an old hand, you are never old enough not to learn new tricks!
Can you let me know where you managed to obtain .25mm leaded solder andf they Alluminum tape.
Once again great stuff keep it up!
I am Brazilian learning soldering with you. I have just started a job as hardware technician. Thanks for sharing your knowledge . Much appreciated :)
ОтветитьYour operation is very smooth and I have learned a lot!
ОтветитьHi, I really like your videos and am trying to follow along while learning to solder some retro video games I have. What kind of iron tips do you use? My iron is a T12 clone and the conic shaped tip I have doesn't work nearly as well as the one you use in your videos. Do you just bump up the heat on your soldering iron when soldering the smaller package components?
ОтветитьThank you for sharing and teaching these correct techniques, thank you very much!
ОтветитьHi. What kind of flux do you use? Thx
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьIt's a good video, but why stretch this video and show how to solder all 4 sides
ОтветитьGreat! Better than factory. Thanks a lot
ОтветитьExcellent work. I have been going through your list of videos and practising on some old circuit boards. Thanks for sharing 😁
ОтветитьThanks for this nice video. I really like your work. I just want to ask can I use the contact cleaner spray instead of alcohol for boards cleaning? Thanks again
ОтветитьSuper cunning!
ОтветитьPoetry in motion.
ОтветитьGreat video! Are you using leaded 0.25mm solder? If so, what brand / model are you using, please?
Ответить
