After my transfer offer is accepted, when negotiating the contract, i always add relegation clause for 0 to lower players overall demands. its cheeky, but i never got relegated, so works well for me (except the Pentagon challenge, i play for FK Pardubice in czech league for 95% of all the time i spend playing the game)

I include money after 1 game ( it appears that the AI don’t know the difference between 1 game and 20 games especially in Saudi it’s very similar to having all the money up front you can usually get another £10 million! )

If you don't mind the advice, could you fill up your room with something and/or move the mic closer to you? There's too much echo in your room and it gets a bit jarring after some time. Would do wonders for video quality.

I always add optional 3 year extension to club when sign young wonderkids so it gives them an 8 year deal on the first contract they sign and throw in a a realistic release clause so if it activated I get the money I want.

Personally i use "Ask agent" as last solution instead of "Hire an agent". That's because almost every time when a club make a transfer bid for my player via his agent, that club will demand from me to pay almost his full wage.

Jake, you didn't say anything about buying players through DOF, do you think it's unnecessary or unprofitable? Do you leave the negotiations with the players regarding the contract to the DOF?

I'm watching a lot o youttubers play fm and see they get a lot of offers for they players from saudi club, i am on 3 year on my save with bayern and no offer had come. The players asking price is so high on my save that i cant buy many of the players i want, and after that see online that the youtbuers got that player much cheaper.

A newer player here. I watched your video and I wanted to make a fun save for Real Madrid with Mbappe for 1-2 seasons. But whatever I do I cannot get Mbappe to sign. He accepts my terms but then he renews and PSG never want to sell him for any kind of money. Is this something hardcoded in the game that Mbappe won't sign or am I doing something wrong?

I talk to his agent, I convince PSG to sell, I do Mbappe contract and then ALWAYS after some time mail comes that PSG refuses to sell him even after they accepted the terms... Also I cannot sign him in the summer for free because he always does new PSG contract even with me talking with him.

My mates convinced me to get fm loving it so far but I started a United save because I support them and I’ve only got 2 million as my starting budget yet he started a West Ham one and has 30 million and none of my players either will leave or I don’t receive any offers for them it’s slightly annoying

Great tips, however I also found out that asking agent for lower wage, means you will not be able to lower the wage once you enter into negotiations with them.

Not sure if trying to directly speak to them would lead to negotiating a lower wage, also bc they tend to start from a higher wage otherwise.

I'm playing it on PS5 version, but l can not find the option about speaking with my player's agent about their market interest
