Good information, I have ankle, knee and hip pain after prolonged standing which I believe is secondary to Pes planus. Thanks for posting solid relative content.
ОтветитьOutstanding info..thanks
ОтветитьThanks for sharing
ОтветитьI broke my left ankle while going thru pre- mob training. I have developed arthritis in both ankles and knees as a result
ОтветитьI have 20% right knee (1998), and then 10% left knee (2001). Just in the last 8-9 years I’ve had ongoing right hip pain that will wake me up at night throbbing, also I developed horrible GERD within the last 7-8 years and I can honestly say I have taken ibuprofen, aleve, or Tylenol at least 4-5 times a week over the past 20 years for pain in my knees after working long days. The last 5 years or so the hip is excruciating at night if I roll onto my right side, which leads to painful and sleepless nights, and constant fatigue. Where would you advise someone like myself to start the process to try to get these connected as secondary issues related to my service connected knee disabilities.

Make you SecVA 7th Undersecretary VBA
Does your company write nexus and/or DBQ's letters for veterans with orthopedic conditions?
ОтветитьI have knee pain that was linked to my hip and back pain...if you can make a claim on one knee, the VA usually give you compensation for both knees 😊
ОтветитьNew to your page 😊 Are we to include these articles as support in our claims? Trying to prep fully in fighting a denial. Thanks
ОтветитьCan you please tell us the name of the articles you mentioned for GERD and NSAID usage? I was denied a secondary claim for GERD from chronic NSAID usage for knee pain.
ОтветитьGreat information like always. 😊
ОтветитьI have service connected knee disabilty. Now I have back pain. I had knee surgery back in july 2018 for resurfacing and that November had a nasty back pain and saw my primary care physician and have ddd. Now both of those being close together would the va likely accept the back pain as a secondary to service connected knee pain?
ОтветитьI have a service connected disability of 0% for my right knee. I just had surgery on my knee for a torn meniscus. How do they determine how much of an increase in disability I will receive when I file for reconsideration of my disability compensation?
ОтветитьI have filed my BDD claim and done my C&P exams. I discovered I should have claimed at least 2-3 other conditions. I have not yet received my VA rating. Should I file a supplemental claim now or wait until I receive my initial rating?
ОтветитьI got knee pain since I was in service and it’s on my records but when I get out I never include to my claim now I want to claim it and I have current diagnosis do I need a nexus for it?
ОтветитьAnother wonderful and very informative video on an important claims issue for so many Veterans. Preparing for total knee replacement surgery. Keep up the great work you do for us. Geno
ОтветитьThanks for this--very helpful. And that dog never moved a lick! Obviously very content.
ОтветитьGreat video awareness, getting my knee rating in 2025, I have a lot of homework to do.
Ответитьthank you so much, it's 1am as i am writing this. i just got done typing my personal statement for depression/anxiety/sleep disorder/weight gain (70 lbs worth) secondary to knee pain (30% left 10% right). i was unsure if i had a chance with this claim, but actually hearing it from a "been there, done that" professional puts me at ease. im also submitting for left knee increase due to hoffa fat (sounds gross) and right knee for weight bearing pain and swelling. once again, thank you, i just might get some sleep this morning.
ОтветитьWhen you file for a knee issues, do you have to include each 38CFR for the knee or will they automatically included if the issues are mentioned in the exam and have medical evidence
ОтветитьWas rated at 60% for My Left Knee and 0% for My Right Knee! Now My Knee is giving Me worse problem ever along with GERD, Right and Left Radiculopathy and a host of other issues that I’m waiting to be rated on
