Not a bad job for an engineer. 🤣🤣
Seriously, looks real nice. Even has a place for your flashlights.
Ed, nice setup!
ОтветитьMine has yellow in it!
ОтветитьThats good and all but where the ventilation. Thought makita battery system is all built on venti so it could last longer
ОтветитьAwesome mod Bro That came out super nice love it @EdTheOldTechGuy
ОтветитьMakita IS the tools to use, Milwaukee IS the tool box system to use. 👍👍👍
ОтветитьThat's a pretty nice idea. I have all that same stuff.🤔🤔🤔
ОтветитьOne thing a lot of people don't know but if you look under the lid you will see small little screw holes, not even the Milwaukee Rep know about this but those holes actually a perfect for the Milwaukee charger to hang underneath the lid which makes storing your chargers easy.
ОтветитьOn the opposite side of plug might be a good spot for small cooling fan
Great job Thanks I think I’ll do the same ,
Packable business is too slow and getting the orders out that’s my experience still waiting
ОтветитьHas anybody installed some kind of small access to the front of the bottom rolling cart because I’m not using that space due to removing everything on yo to access that space please help let me know if there’s a video thankyou.
ОтветитьShame to use the case use the crate 4 this application
ОтветитьNice Job ! Very flexible .
ОтветитьI right with you. All of my power tools are makita and all of my storage is Milwaukee
ОтветитьGet the wort top and mount it to the top and mount the charge to it and add a cord cobra for wrapping up your own c0rd
ОтветитьThis is a great idea perfect soul for my power station ! I’m in a very wet and windy location where my box will be in the weather a lot of the time how’s the weather seal on the plug ? Thanks for the ideas Ed
Ответить80!?!!! Wow prices went up this year
ОтветитьMy packout is full of dewalt tools. Framing nailer, roofing nailer, 4 and a half inch circ saw, recip saw, ocil saw, all dewalt. I do have an M12 pin nail in the packout and an M12 driver that sits in my nail bag. Always choose the best tool for the job. T
he packout is the best portable storage but the tools inside are best for the actual work.
Very cool idea.
ОтветитьLol
ОтветитьTop demais, parabéns 👏👏👏
ОтветитьGood Idea but, you should have Cut a thin Piece of plywood to fit in bottom, mount your stuff to it, it allows it to be removable fast if needed.
ОтветитьReally?
ОтветитьEvery time I see someone build one of these, always wonder how it's going to react to all the heat that's inside that box? These batteries are going to be hot! I just don't see how that can be a good idea over a period of time. And I always wonder are they going to leave the lids off, but I never see them leave the lid off.
ОтветитьGreat idea!!!
ОтветитьI'm pretty sure I could do the same thing with a $15 toolbox I definitely wouldn't have to pay $80 for Milwaukee packout box but it is a pretty decent idea
ОтветитьVery nice build 👍
ОтветитьThis is a great idea for a charging station. Great job! Did you run any Silicone around the hole for the plug? I asked because I'm concerned about loosing that water seal
ОтветитьI'll keep PACKOUT in mind if I ever bring my charger or want to roll up with batteries and leave the tools home. Looks like a good screw organizer too. lol
Ответитьmy milwaukee crackout addiction has reached a new low after spending my life savings ive began trading sex for crackout it would be ok if girls had milwaukee products im not gay well i wasnt ha ha ha yuck just kidding
ОтветитьSame. I love my Makita tools and I love packout! I recently started collecting m12 tools, also, and I have some ryobi tools. I'm going to try and put together a charing station to accommodate all 3. Thanks for the vid!
ОтветитьI hung my chargers on the sides outside the box, finished batteries go inside the drawers
ОтветитьHahahah no need to pull does wires
ОтветитьYou want to talk about sacrilegious I store Milwaukee power tools in the Dewalt tough system lol. 🤣🤣
ОтветитьI wonder if you used foam where your batteries are, if you could stand them upright and fit more batteries or would the lid still close
ОтветитьGreat video great idea will make one next week
ОтветитьI'm glad you like to support small business. You must be a smart high quality person

Use what you have no problem with that
ОтветитьLooks to serviceable, you're not an engineer.
ОтветитьYou just drilled a massive whole on your packout. Well done...
ОтветитьSlick. I mounted a few battery mounts to the underside of the lid of mine to hold charged batteries.
ОтветитьPretty cool.
I too am a Makita guy. I have probably 11-12 LXT 18v batteries and at least a dozen LXT tools: Xdt19 impact, xdt15(sub compact) impact, xdt16 impact (my conduit reamer lives on this one), xph14 hammer drill, xbp05 bandsaw, a blower, vacuum, tire inflator, 2 different roto hamers (one sub compact and one regular size with a built in dust-extractor), job site fan, grinder, oscillating multi tool (the new black one with the star lock) and a few others.. I love Makita and am heavily invested.
THEN I GOT. A MILWAUKEE PACKOUT for work.
Then one day I impulse bought a Milwaukee M12 impact and hammer drill combo (it came with a free extra battery - damn you Home Depot).. this led to me getting the M12 surge, then the m12 Packout light…. Now I bring both Makita and Milwaukee to work (electrician).
I gotta say, although I love my Makita stuff, I haven’t touched my Makita impacts or drills in months..
I always use my M12 surge or M12 Hammer drill.. they just work better.
I’ve slowly (after 10 years) evolved into a Milwaukee guy. Day in, day out, they just work better in the trades.
I’m actually curious why Milwaukee hasn’t come out with their own Packout style charging solution (for their m12/m18 products obviously).. they could easily make a “charging station” Packout with the battery male ends attached to the sides with storage on the inside.. they could make a 4 bay, 6 bay, whatever.. money on the table.
man the Milwaukee in me feels Violated seeing Makita in side the box lol JK JK very good video very handy loved it
ОтветитьI too have almost $800 in Milwaukee boxes but have all the brand of tools, but 90% are DeWalt, about 2k worth just in yellow. The packout system in my opinion is the most rugged and best designed modular tool storage out there. The locking can be better but the plastic is easily defeatable.
ОтветитьI have many Makita cordless tools and batteries.
ОтветитьCool. And the best thing is that there is nothing preventing the tool box from still being used as a tool box. Ignore the naysayers my friend.
ОтветитьBro lost me at Makita.
