Found this show last week. Amazing!!

Serie televisiva molto bella, nulla di eccezionale ma comunque guardabile con combattimenti abbastanza realistici seppur c'è qualche ingenuità, quindi molto bella e molto bella per me come valutazione è 7,5.

Only 2 seasons?

I loved the series made by the BBC better than those made by Netflix - somehow I found something was missing in the last two series, mostly fightings and somehow dark/grim, unnatural. Also the movie was mostly filmed in Hungary where the landscape still represents the real ancient nature look for the show.

The two people has never changed in movie ,Uthred and the wife of Alfred

7 years later, and still one of my all time favorite shows.

toss up with, the lask kingdom, peaky blinders, and breaking bad.

Gute Serie aber diese brida hat die Serie kaputt gemacht sehr schlechte Schauspielerin ihre Stimme und ihre Mimik sind sehr schlecht und ihr Schauspiel auch sehr schlechtes Niveau ich glaube sie ist deutsche stimmt das das ergibt das Sinn deutsche Können nicht Schauspielern und die synchro absolut Müll wie alle deutschen Filme und Serien die müssen noch viel lernen

HATE when ppl say aw great Netflix show ........... it was on bbc 2 for yrs at 9pm ,same with Vikings ppl think it was a History channel was shaw productions Canadian company but for all the nude scenes were cut for the US version which is cut to shreds , for instance anyone who has seen the show knows Helga comes to the door of flokis house in the buff when Ragnar was getting hunted in 1st season but for us vesion she comes out the house with dress on lol each US vesion of the show lasts 44,11 mins everyone but they cut 5 mins from every ep was good to read US folk asking why Canadians had uncut while US cut to shreds even this is cut if eps are not longer than 55 mins which some are cut

Super stupid series. Has no storyline except each end of an episode, they find a reason to prolong the series. Nothing beats GOT in storyline. No stupidity at all. The title doesn't even suit the series. Uhtred just being the puppet of the director to make 5 seasons 😂😂😂

A brilliant series, period detail correct. King Alfred a great actor & his failing health done well by all. I cried when Ragnar & Brida made up by Ragnar's grave.

Loved this show from start to finish including the film. The 1st series is my favourite series though. Ive watched every episode atleast 8 times. So very sad that this is the end. Thank you to everyone involved for all the great screen time you have given us. ... Destiny is all.

Binged watched all 5 Seasons in about 2 weeks, then watched the Movie. Damn I’m going to miss this series ❤️ So Good! 👏👏

holy hell I’m so impressed by the actor who portrayed King Alfred, though there are so many great actors in this series. I’m probably biased b/c I’m a direct descendant of Alfred 😂 as far as such things can be accurate, anyway. but it’s fascinating history regardless and I’m grateful it made me motivated to learn more about this period and all the players involved.

this show was great at the beginning (the first few seasons) and after it just became some kind of a cheap simping fairy tale, always saving the princess..

If u actually do the research on the viking race in real life not the bullshit in stupid movies yes they had high honor and pride among each other but they actually didn't care about their families very much the men were very abusive beat the women and children and no they would not stand for women taking place in battles thier place was staying home being a slave pretty much the vikings were a very violent race of people nothing more than thieves and murderers and who knows what all else the only thing they mainly cared about was their Honor and Pride on the battle field if they were stripped of that they would kill themselves because they seen themselves as worthless from that point on pride and honor was everything to a viking among their own people brothers in arms but as for any other race they would slaughter and murder thousands of innocent people and steal all their belongings for no reason all because they didn't want them in their territory or AKA kingdom they were always at war with different kingdoms over the absolute dumbest shit possible mainly because someone from a neighboring kingdom insulted someone or wasn't wanted in their kingdom or some other stupid bullshit if u people would actually sit down and research the true history of the vikings race u would see and realize just how worthless of a race they really was

Holy shit that looks good. It really gives me an idea of how it must have been long ago, in that sister past when the people saw the Danes coming... What fear... My friend and I love discussing history and the warrior lineage if mankind and he told me about this and I have got to watch it. Wish I actually had him on Facebook so I could tell him how bloody awesome it looks and to thank him for the recommendation lol

I watched this show couple of months back. The story line and characters were way better than Vikings. Cried so many times. Such an underrated show.
