you can't trust csgo inspect links, here's why..

The reason you can inspect previous “versions” of the weapon is because the inspect link is just digit values that re-build what the code tells it to build for the preview window… In those codes you use, each digit in it’s position represents an aspect of the weapon’s visual features… It’s almost as if Ohnepixel is thinking inspect links are like actually opening up a container to see an actual item in it’s actual condition LOLOLOL.

kind of right and wrong at the same time the inspect link stores the item id and all the other necessary data for displaying the skin which means with a little bit of reverse engineering we can craft items using inspect links which don't even exist at the moment. ofc only skins whcih are in the game but we can create float value inspect links which don't exist at all with sticker combinations never seen before

Actually, when I scratched off sticker completely, item appeared in my inventory with "received new item" notification. I guess, some actions create completely "new" item and "destroy" old. By that logic, partially scratching won't work. Complete scratch, however, will.
