Honestly I didn't eat Mcdonald anymore but i found this movie is very interesting 😮😂

I fucking hate Michael Keaton in this movie. What a good actor he is.

Kind of a dick move on Ray’s part

But I can definitely see this as a sort of win.

I mean the brothers still got the money, their name’s are still the ones people are seeing across the world, and they earned as much as they would’ve if they didn’t make the deal with Ray

Honestly from another point of view this just looks like early retirement and passing the hard work onto someone else

They didn’t see the vision and didn’t want to expand. Croc was a boss doing this move!

Ray Cross was the best and the worst thing to happen to McDonald’s

He’s right about the name “Mc Donald’s”. When you hear it just rings those golden fries they were so famous for.

I don't understand why some people think Kroc was this great genius businessman. He was just a mediocre milkshake salesman before this and probably failed tons of times. What turned it around for him?

Kroc was a scumbag. The McDonald brothers gave him his start, but greed got in the way. Sad that the brothers didn't do something about their trademark. They trusted Kroc even after the things he did to them, and when they sold the business to him, they still believed a handshake was all they needed. Of course lowlife Kroc never made good on his promise of giving them 1% of the take.
I believe what Kroc did to the brothers, especially Mac was responsible for his death. Kroc wasn't even faithful to his wife, and he marries 3 times. When he died, he left 500 million. Of course McDonalds is now owned by a whole list of top stockholders.

I think both Kroc and the brothers would be ashamed of what McDonald's is going through now

The reality is that if Kroc didn't steal it someone else would. The guys were to passive, he helped them with franchising their restaurant.

why the hell would u do that if he is willing to pay 2.6 million then ur can understand the potential so a handshack HELL NO ,really i get royals and my family will until i die if u want my company

If someone says we need to do it off a handshake and then when you say no I need it on paper and the guy you’re making a deal with says “what you don’t trust me?” Then he’s going to screw you over. Anyone whose not planning on screwing you over will have no problem signing a contract because they just want to make you feel certainty that you’ll be protected.

I looked it up. $1.3 million then would be @ $10.3 mil today. Properly invested, they'd become billionaires.

I know this has been debated a billion times, but I just saw this movie for the firs time last night and I think the man was nothing but snake.

The way he says “Bye Dick” at the end when he walks away is PERFECT. You can just feel the “in your dreams loser” type expression in his voice.

Anyone that believes that Ray wasn’t a bad guy believes that Dave Chappell was treated fairly by CC and Micheal Jackson was treated fairly by Sony. Ray Kroc did it first.

Imagine if the McDonald brothers never made a deal with Ray Croc. At the very least, they kept their name and made him change it. McDoogles, McDaniels, McMahons, etc. Lol.

I would feel sick… and violated. I dont care what people say, i feel for the brothers. I don’t understand why they did it.

The sad thing is he never paid the McDonald’s brothers a single cent in royalties.

The bathroom is symbolic because the deal was dirty and Roy Croc was pissing all over the place on them, especially when he did the handshake. They had to wash their hands after the deal was done.

The McDonald's Brothers seemed like a couple of clowns.

Regardless of the movie and the franchise foundation…..that franchise has been slaughtered into one of THEY WORST places to ingest this so called food on the planet. I’d rather eat at a nice family owned taco truck!

These brothers ended up with more money then they would have ever made off that burger shack in that small little town. They also got to keep the burger shack & continue selling the food in that town that made them popular.

BS about the value of the name. Sure, KROC's sounds worse, but he could have come up with other name just as good as mcdonalds. Even if it was miraculously the number 1 name, the 2nd best name would be super close. So no, it is not how the name sounds.

The brothers could have risen with Kroc if they didnt try muscle him when they had all the leverage and Kroc was close to losing everything. This is business and the brothers would have gladly allowed Kroc to fail in order to enjoy the fruits of his labor while not having to deal with him anymore.

This is a movie. Don't believe a word of it. Hollywood bollixes almost everything either by incompetence or design. The whole industry should stick to fiction because they just make up stuff anyway.

Kroc knew what they had. His heart mustve been pounding the entire time during his quest to buy the brand.

Everyone wants to sympathize with the two idiots Ray gave them wealth beyond their own understanding. Yet all they did was try to hold him back. And this is the part of the movie that’s accurate. They wanted to hold back the guy who was making them rich just so they can feel like they had power over him. He took that power away from them and their business. Why sympathize when enemies?
