Back when all those ingredients together didn’t cost 150 bucks.
ОтветитьClemenza was one of my favorite characters. He just takes care of business.
ОтветитьI started adding a little bit of sugar to my sauce after seeing this movie 😂. Ngl its actually a good trick
ОтветитьOf all things, someone posted this recipe on fb, it said sugar, and watched this scene for the ???? Time, and didn't believe he said sugar... oh well. STILL great 2 films.
ОтветитьThe man who taught me how to make spaghetti
Ответить😊
ОтветитьPaulie missed out on some great sauce.
ОтветитьI never understood how they saw Michael as a child when he was a lieutenant, a war veteran and a Marine.
ОтветитьWhy don't you cut the crap I got more important thing for you to do....😅😂
ОтветитьCut the crap? That’s good cooking… people gotta eat.
ОтветитьI love how Sonny comes and says to his Godfather, "why don't you cut the crap?" Hahaha.. Love Sonny
ОтветитьProgresso: the official tomatoes of this thing of ours.
ОтветитьI take it that Michael didn't want to show any soft or weak behavior in front of the fellas, which is why he didn't say "I love you" back to Kay
ОтветитьClamenza was like the cool uncle who would tell you if you're messing up. All love and respect until it ain't
ОтветитьThey make this cooking scene just in case the movie flop the audience know how to prepare meatballs Italian style
ОтветитьI made Clemenza’a meatballs because I didn’t know when I’m going to have to cook for 20 guys someday
ОтветитьWhy dont you cut the crap i got more important things for you to do, hows Paulie
Oh, Paulie we won't see him no more 😂😂😂😂😂
Was Sonny having second thoughts on whacking Paulie?
ОтветитьSonny lighten up, an army marches on its stomach!
Ответить"Hey come over here kid, learn something - you never know, you might have to cook for twenty guys some day"
This was a major turning-point line for me as a 2000s teen with pretty narrow and juvenile interests(superheroes etc). I constantly blew off adults who were doing mundane stuff around the house like this, but something about the way Clemenza said this line.... it was like a wakeup call, and I've always taken the time to stop, pay attention, and learn any given thing in these dynamics ever since, no matter how mundane or random.
❤️
ОтветитьAnd til this day, this is exactly how I make pasta 😅
ОтветитьClemenza ragging on Michael, "I love you with alla my heart, If I don't see you again-a soon, I'ma goona die,," lol
Ответитьevery mafia family is trying to kill you and you teach culinary lessons and give love advice lol. straight up gangster
ОтветитьClemenza is one cool friend to the family.
ОтветитьNo onions?!?
Ответить"You start with water and fry some garlic"??? Whoever wrote that never cooked in his life.
ОтветитьCut the crap Sonny?! Making a good sauce is never crap!
ОтветитьMichael liked and respected Clemenza
ОтветитьClemenzas's meatballs💀💀
ОтветитьMichael inspired Han Solo to say “I know” when Leia said she loved him.
ОтветитьClemens’s is my favorite. I love him in this and I especially love him In 2 where he robs that rug
ОтветитьNo onions?
ОтветитьPeter Clemenza: One minute he's cooking meatballs for 20 guys, the next minute he's blasting 2 guys in an elevator with a shotgun. What a dude.
ОтветитьA famous scene where Clemenza was teaching Michael how to be a godfather by teaching him how to make this stewed meatballs in tomato sauce.
Ответитьcan anyone confirm if this is a good recipe? i wanna try it😂
ОтветитьSeen the Godfather probably 1,500 times. Clemenza is far and away my favorite character. "Ah Paulie, won't see him no more
ОтветитьEvery bit of it, in whole or in parts, is close to perfection. Richard S. Castellano's Clemenzs is brilliant throughout, but, "Aw, Paulie, won't see him no more" is great, every single time.
ОтветитьThis was the last movie that tap water was ever consumed.
ОтветитьHey Clemenzo. Gomba. You forgot the Basil and oragno. I'm Calabasas and Secilian we use no sugar in the sauce. You got garlic in the meatballs why in the sauce it ruins the flavor of tomatoes. Lots of love.
ОтветитьDon't put too many onions in it.
Ответить"add a little bit of WIIIIIIINE"
ОтветитьBear in mind Clemenza (Richard Castellano) was only in his late 30s when his GF scenes were shot. So consider what a horrible physical specimen he was. He of course keeled over @ 55.
ОтветитьClemenza is one of the greatest characters in movie history. I refuse to watch GF III because he was not a part of it.
Like him I love to cook (actually, love to eat). White wine added much flavor to the dish. Now in my old age I've become a teetotaler and no longer use wine. Yeah, the flavor is not quite the same but it's still good.
Mangia!
The sauce in Goodfellas had to many onions....this one has too few.
And yes, put sugar in your sauce you freaking barbarians.
I never take cooking advice from a fat duck FU
ОтветитьWhydon you cut the crap? Eh?😂
Ответить
