Hey, would you be able to help answer a question of mine about the Wellspring Mage? How exactly does a Sorcerer get the Wellspring Mage feat at 1st level if they don't get a feat until 2nd level? Cheers.
ОтветитьI love the illustration where the character was holding up their hand to the dragon while checking the rules. This was really cool. Great job.
ОтветитьI love than animation, it looks so good!!!
ОтветитьBasically, Wild Magic Sorcerer, but more flexible in the flavor. So you can either be a Cleric with a very fickle god or a Sorcerer who's Fey Blood has a habit of causing strange stuff to happen.
The art is also very neat. Reminds me of Overly Sarcastic Productions.
Great as always.
ОтветитьA Pathfinder fan, a Mob Psycho fan and a Tatsuro Yamashita fan? Great taste. ;)
Ответитьdamn, that VA does work
ОтветитьCame for the PF2e, stayed for the chill lofi FFVII beats to study to.
Ответитьgasp the deadlyd8 cinematic universe
ОтветитьI see another Mob Psycho 100 fan!!!
ОтветитьAyyye its Osiris!
ОтветитьThis sounds like a very interesting archetype. Reminds of Wild Magic bloodline for the 5e sorcerer, but way more reliable on when surges happen.
I'm also loving this little narrative unfolding in the intro skits!
Very good video! Don't enjoy the archetype tho...
ОтветитьYeeee... random is fun huh
ОтветитьA Summoner with the Wellspring Mage archetype can take a while to get going, but can potentially cast quite a lot of spells from their limited repertoire.
ОтветитьOoooh, I like the narrative as a way to feature the mechanics being discussed. Nice video!
ОтветитьEditor's Notes:
1: This archetype is a bit unique since you can take it at level 1, but then it requires you take the dedication when you hit level 2.
2: The limit of only gaining up to two spell slots back a day is removed once you take the second level dedication (should have clarified this in the video, but it would have taken too long).
2.5: This means critical success on wellspring surge checks (Rolling a 16+ on the flat check) can get you a potentially unlimited number of your highest level spell slots back. Normal successes still grant you one of your top 3 highest level slots, chosen randomly. So the trade-off for losing one spell slot from each of your levels is mitigated by this a bit.
3. The first roll shown in the video is an 8, which would not generate a wellspring surge. This was an error on our part in editing- a different clip should have been used there and no one caught it.
4. There's a bunch more feats in the archetype that we couldn't get to in the video, so it's worth checking out!
