Catalina vs Big Sur startup time on an old MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013)

I love Catalina. Old or not, it is what MacOS really is, to me.

I just got a 2014 13" MBP 16Gb Ram with Big Sur installed on it. Do you recommend I install Catalina to reduce the laggy Gui?
