Die 3050 ist totaler Müll. Für den Preis viel zu ineffizient und zu wenig Leistung. Sie sollte im Vergleich ja eigentlich maximal 100w verbrauchen, tendenziell 75w.

Its impressive, since what we had as high gpu on the market 7 years ago have only a slight power against a low end card today. Kind of cool to think.

I own gtx 1080 Asus strix. Still playin good with this card in 2023. Paired with Ryzen 5 5500 and 32 gb ram. With some new games, it is true that some details need to be reduced a little, but otherwise I have no problem.

The only reason to get a 3050 is if you don't own a pc or it is at least 10 years old AND you are poor. Any other reason ("ooh i am upgrading my 1060!") attests to complete retardation.

I'll just say I have a R7 5800X, 3050, and 32G RAM, and I get my refresh speeds (165) to stick on most games playing 1080. I am satisfied with the 3050.

Thanks, for an owner of GTX1080 looking at which 30 series or 6000 series cards to upgrade to this is very useful. Most reviews and benchmarks dont include 10 series cards anymore for comparison

Yes, the GTX1080 is still faster than a RTX3050, but I think it is what people say.... the RTX3050 is a lot cheaper. Now if I want to upgrade from my GTX1080 I would not buy a RTX3050, because it's performance is only slightly different. A benchmark test however says that the GTX1080 is about 46% faster overall. Then in this case I should buy a RTX3070 or RTX3080.... but also nearly double the price... most likely I wait until my 1080 can't cope anymore or dies on me...

So, on average the RTX 3050 gives around 13% more performance than GTX 1070 (without DLSS). Also, on average the GTX 1080 gives around 7% more performance than RTX 3050 (without DLSS). I would say RTX 3050 is closer to GTX 1080 than GTX 1070, and superior to both of them when activating DLSS.

If you guys find a 1080 below msrp(used 1080) of 3050 i would recommend to get the 1080 if much possible a 1080ti or 2060 however if you guys want the features you guys get in rtx 3000series it much more good if you guys choose 3060
