So nobody thought there might be sth wrong with a movie like that? France has a pedo problem and nobody has the guts to address this issue. Just look at the movie cuties

A chaque intervalle de scène, il lui caresse le visage, lui touche le corps, l'embrasse, lui fait un câlin mais sans raison pour la scène puisqu'il joue pas dedans..il en profite. Les limites (du toucher enfant/adulte, relation professionnelle etc) ne sont clairement pas respectées et ce devant tout le monde !!

Ce film est d'une nullité abyssale.
Le genre de drame pseudo intello francais inepte et indigeste.

Adele looks like innocent here. But the way she acts here is not suits for a 12 years old. What kind of director he was... 💔

sad to see the loss of range in story, subject matter and expression.

I was wondering if you'd consider taking down this video.
I can understand that this video is about the movie and not Ruggia, but the set was the site of so much of his power and actions. I think if I were in Haenel's shoes I'd be uncomfortable with footage of that time and place being online for everyone to see. I agree that her Mediapart interview is brilliant and very touching, and think that's a more important format for viewers to learn about her experience with the movie - I don't know that the public should have access to actual video of that part of her life.

Knowing that something horrible happen to Adele by the disgusting director of this movie is very VERY disturbing to watch.

This Movie is really good! I saw it many years ago on TV. Since then I've been looking for it on DVD!

A monstrous hypocrite as evident as what the director had demonstrated and presented in those film clips. Deliberately abused his power over the innocent 12-year-old girl and also took advantage of her trust and admiration to the director's position. Disgusting shame on RuXXia and RuXXias. Adele you are such, such, such a beautiful and brave soul we could ever see on this planet. Love you even more.

Knowing the back story about this film making it very uncomfortable to watch. These are children and it is sick for anyone let alone an adult to abuse their power!

C'est eoceurant il y a des dizaines d'adultes sur ce tournage. A 40 minutes, il pose presque sa tete sur ses genoux. Elle porte une robe courte et legere. Les types comme lui aiment souvent certaines pratiques sexuelles qui sont tout a fait OK entre adultes consentants, mais pas entre un homme adulte et une gamine a peine pubere, qui en plus travaille sous ses ordres.

Fuck... God that's really hard to watch I'm almost crying, you see that Adele is not okay like she wannabe in other place. I am an abused child and I understand what she felt...

Todos los participantes de este proyecto deberían estar presos. Permitir y ser partícipes del abuso es igual que ser abusador. La audiencia de esta película también debió reprobarla, no se aplaude una aberración.

On a plutôt envie de la protéger qu'autre chose!
Certains adultes sont monstrueux d'abuser de ces petits anges!
Et pourtant ce ruggia à l'air fort gentil et sympathique!
Et tous ça dans l'ombre sans que personne ne doute, apparemment certains se sont posé des questions sur l'emprise du réalisateur sur la gamine, mais bon le film continue car beaucoup d'enjeux, et donc le réalisateur reste impuni!
Mais il le faut oser dénoncer dès que l'adulte responsable remarque quelque chose, quitte à tout foutre en l'air et arrêter le film, protégeons nos enfants dès que le malaise se fait sentir!
La vie d'un enfant n'a pas de prix!

Europeans have a different outlook on these types of things. It seems acceptable to them. I was astounded by the very low age of consent in many European countries. They need to look at themselves in the mirror and change this culture. It is perverse!!

Especially I’ve seen this film, and the vibe was totally uncomfortable. Some people might say it was a piece of art, but it must be a torture for those little actors. Like Adèle said, she had to try very hard to live a normal life again.
