It's only a line in a movie but it nails how and who we are supposed to be ... the response of some on here when their actions hurt others in saying their actions / words were reliant on 'following Jesus' in the word of God to justify themselves - I guess the same can be said about 'following Mohammed' in the name of Allah or whatever deity they claim to follow ... is just a weak, pathetic cop out ... the reality, the cold, hard reality is ... if they really had or did ... this world would be in a far better place and not continually on the edge of the abyss it always finds itself ... I'm coming towards the end of my life, as it happens I've ended up pretty ok but as I look back, there have been many, many, many times where I made choices where I KNEW what the right path was but I took the easy route and it caused pain and loss to others who did not deserve it (and subsequently me) because at the time, it was too f*cking hard ... if there is a 'Supreme Being' ... by whatever name ... and I believe there is ... I now know the voice I followed at those times wasn't his (or hers, let's not get distracted by labels here) ... I have grown to have a theory about this life because every religion considers this to be a step before the next life so how about this thought, if you get it right, you go to Heaven or Jannah or Svargolaka or Sagga or whatever ... you get it wrong, you come back for a second, third, fourth, fifth chance and more ... the way the world is going, it seems to me there's more and more failures who keep coming back and are continually getting it wrong and life is getting harder and more painful ... this means if you don't get it right this time around, you might be running out of chances so when the End of Days arrives, and it may be soon, you and I (if I'm still here because I didn't get it right) are fucked to oblivion ... so don't justify yourself by claiming to do the right thing when that quiet voice tells it isn't ... you'll be better for it in more ways than you can think of.

I have a sudden question after watching the movie 100 times and being a big fan for all those years
"In the justice perspective is it right that Charlie keep silent and not saying the truth of what happened?" I know the drama and the script and dialogue is definitely supporting the idea of Charlie being honest and they totally succeeded in delivering this message, but in another perspective is it right if someone witnessed a wrong action happened and was asked to say what happened to refuse to say the truth for the sake of friends or for the sake of whom he loves? is the definition honest means to cover the wrong actions which leads to those who did wrong actions to simply get away with it instead to stand and be responsible enough to face their own actions? is the definition (Snitch) means to answer and say the truth even if it is against friends because simply that what happened and he was asked to just say what he saw?
