Thanks so much for all of the positive feedback. Thanks to community members posting on GitHub, some bugs, typos and errors have been caught and fixed. New features have already been added with plenty more to come in the future.
ОтветитьI have a question about upgrading my extruder stepper motor..
Would like to replace this boat anker 40-42 with a smaller on. I found a stepper that is a 40-23ish, but the torque is lower on the smaller unit. Will this work on my e3 pro? Or do you have a idea of what I should do
Very Cool man Thank you
ОтветитьThanks for the comprehensive guide. I just started 3d printing and this will help a lot to understand my printer and have a rolling start :)
Ответитьmeh
ОтветитьI was curious about flow vs flow equalization ratio in cura. Do I set both at 100 percent then adjust one or the other in cura? Do they both do the same thing?
ОтветитьYou are doing such an amazing job. It has really helped me getting further acquainted in the 3d printing world. Just donated some beer/filament money! Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьGreat video. Thank you.
Ответитьreally good video i try you tool on line and i can run really good, but when i create a gcode, in orca some is wrong and i cant print i had a K7 EasyThreed, so bassic, but with orca this is hard can u help my? y use a generic setting for marlin legacy
ОтветитьI'm having some issues using some of the gcode with the MK4. I'm not sure if it's because the MK4 has slightly different ABL than the MK3, so there's not an option for it. When I use it, it'll spit the filament out while probing the bed, and then won't have any filament in the nozzle to actually extrude anything
Ответитьis there any gcode all in one speed temperature and retractable to change and see the best
ОтветитьGreat work man. This is a life saver .
ОтветитьOustanding effort. Thanks!
ОтветитьI upgraded to a Bowden setup for lols on my Anet AM8, I'm about half way through this and this has been absolutely invaluable. I suffered from the dreaded ticking but remembered about retraction from this a few days ago, guessed the value and was able to stem the heat creep enough to start be even at a start.
I was under the impression this is better than the stock extruder and the prints I've had from it so far definitely confirm this but now I'm wondering if the second hand printer I bought was EVER calibrated....It seems so as the flow rate wasn't far off at all.
Does the Website work for klipper printers like the neptune 4 pro aswell?
ОтветитьI love that you made it a static web page. That's such a good way to documentation.
ОтветитьMerci !
ОтветитьI'm totally fresh regarding 3d printing, so I've been looking around for tips here and there, that's how I found your video and website. I'd like to thank you for your great job to the maker's community. Cheers from Brazil! 💚
ОтветитьBrilliant!!! thankyou for all your effort, im sure lots of people are being helped out with all this info, I am working through all the videos and settings and am getting way way better prints just with the test parts!!! Well done again
ОтветитьThanks so much for all your hard work to make this hobby made easier
ОтветитьThanks a lot
ОтветитьWould it be possible for printer companies to have an x,y,z & extruder calibration option on the display. "For a 20mm cube, your measured X value was...?" The 100mm filament test ran how many mm? Then it calculates the new esteps and adds it automatically. What do you think?
ОтветитьBruh the more of these video's I watch the more I realize how utterly useless my Flashforge Adventurer 3 is. They literally went out their way to make things as difficult as possible. You either run it at stock settings and okay-ish prints for own use (useless for customers) as long as you use their brand filament- or you use a different brand filament and find out how completely useless this device is both design and quality-wise.
ОтветитьYour calibration gcodesesic are a wonderful time saver!!! Thank you!!!!
ОтветитьBut.... it's printing the wrong way around the track.... Monza is CW, not CCW...
Cool tech though!
Thank you so much and wonderful job for making all this process so easy. 👍
ОтветитьGREAT video, exactly what I was looking for. I just bought my first 3d printer, a Neptune 3 Plus, and I wanted to do all of these before using it, but as you can imagine that meant a lot of hunting on FB, YT, and Reddit. You have put everything I needed all in one place, and your explanations are thorough and clear. Well done. I may need suggestions on ranges of values to enter into some of the cal procedure columns, if I find that's true I'll open an issue as you described. Well done. If you have a way for a direct cc support (vs pp) I'll do that too. Cheers.
ОтветитьI am experiencing something rather odd on my Ender-5 Pro. Following the steps in this guide, and using your gcode generators, my first layer print test came out great, as did my baseline print. However, when I download the STL of the XYZ cube and slice it, it comes out like garbage! It's the same model as the baseline! It clearly must be a setting in the slicer, but I get the same results in any slicer I have tried! I'm baffled!
ОтветитьThe retraction test doesn't work on a Klipper printer. I went through the process and the 'calibration test' came out perfect. Not a string in sight at any level.
Go to print something, and there's string everywhere.
Do the test again - no strings.
I made my own retraction twin towers using F360 and used S3D's 'Variable Settings Wizard' and used your methodology to change one parameter for each test.
More long winded than your automated 'proforma' tool, but at least it works.
This is not a complaint, mind you. Your tool helped me make my own. Just letting you know it doesn't work on any of my Klipper printers.
Thanks for your Videos. Question: do you have a video that shows how to calibrate the proximity sensor on Anucubic Kobra?
ОтветитьGood patron magruder13 IDK how it works, but shoudnlt you put his products or something what he do? Anyway great video.
ОтветитьWell done bud, thank you from all the noob starters! This is everything for a stater like myself!
ОтветитьGarrus aproves
ОтветитьHeroic effort. Thanks for all of this help. Subscribed.🎉
Ответитьthis channel went so shill... hard pass
ОтветитьJust got into 3d printing and this website is a gold mine! It is so well laid out, simple, and easy to understand. Thank you!
ОтветитьLove your videos!
Thank you for all your advice.
I’m working on my first 3d printer video where I’m adding the creality sprite and I was wondering if it’s ok to link to this video since it helped me so much
This is awesome help. Thank you for all those invested hours!
ОтветитьTry the AutoTowers Generator extension instead. No more messing with Gcode.
ОтветитьSo let me get this straight...this is meant to make things SIMPLE?...Wow This fella needs to look up the meaning of simple
ОтветитьAnother Great video and information on helping me to tune my Ender3v2. I really appreciate you doing all of this and making it free to everyone... I for one love it when things like this are free as I am on a disability pension and have minimal money to spend and you not charging for access to a gcode or similar makes a big difference for me, as I have gone to other sites and followed other channels info only to find out that when they say to go to a website for more into it says you have to join up and then pay to get the files or access to info...
ОтветитьAmaz-balls! Thank you so much!
Ответитьgracias amigo exelente trabajo
Ответитьthis is probably the most difficult tutorial ive ever seen
ОтветитьDayng man! Keep it up!
Ответитьwhat do I use for a test/fix if my cube is offsize?
ОтветитьOne of the community greatest asset!
After printing almost problem free for 2,5 years i now hit some walls in regard to the needed quality.
This was after my stock ender 3 v2 hot end fan failed. I upgraded this and the parts cooling fan to sunon 24v 40x40x10 in combination with a briss fang type.
Stringing gallore and adhesion issues. Currently working through the recalibration steps.
My setup now:
micro swiss dual gear extruder
capricorn tube
New stock hotend and fans
Dual Z axis (additional stepper)
Upgraded springs
CR Touch
Pei plate
Firmware atm: Back at Ender 3 4.2.2 BL/CR
Tried:
Jyers 4.2.2 CR Touch 3x3
Jyers 4.2.2 UBL 10x10
mriscoc/proffesional software
Your video's and website will help me immensely , thanks a lot! Keep doing this great work!
I still can't find ANYONE that talks about Ejerk and E acceleration, or how to calibrate them. Do you have any information?
Ответитьthe one video for almost all my questions.
ОтветитьWhere is the flow calculation spreadsheet?
