Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania existed as sovereign countries 1918 - 1940, so they we happy to end soviet ockupation in 1991.

Information about Crimea and Donbass "declaring independence" from Ukraine is not correct. Mainly because initially Russian soldiers appeared and occupied the areas (like parliament in Crimea), set new "leaders" of the area and after that those areas "decided to be independent".
