Ryan’s channel is GOLD! Thanks for the inspiration!!
ОтветитьProfessor Peach spitting that hot fire, as per usual.
ОтветитьGreat reminders about fundamental concepts aiming for quality. A couple of these Arbans I need to revisit for sure. Cheers!
ОтветитьNice video! I find it fascinating how certain exercises are enhanced by our wardroom choices. 😂. I like to practice my (rudimentary) transposition skills on these . V
ОтветитьLoved the outfit adjustments. Can you do a video about Arban flexibility exercises? 33 years into playing the trumpet and I don't think I've ever heard a decent way of how to approach them. Thoughts?
Ответитьgreat video! one of the greatest method books in the market and really love your approach to this aswell as the recordings provided. one of my personal favs is the arban quarter note studies, for the longest i was practicing various other exercises like the ones you showcased but i couldnt articulate quarter notes, my chops would die after i tongue 2 notes... but after beating myself up for a week and actually sitting down and attacking this problem made my articulations unbelievbaly easier and made all the problems i thought i had like (initial attack, response, hard articulation, fluffy sound, etc) go away. I think highlighting the basics like you have is something all trumpet players need to do in order to have an efficient and reliable articulation. Thanks for the great video ryan!
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video - it’s really helpful. 🎺
ОтветитьHey,
Thanks for sharing this:
#5 and #3 have always been two of my favorites! My ABSOLUTE favorite is #46, page 20!
This video made me want to grab my Arbans now
Hey Ryan just found ur chai. I'm Currey trying to complete the Bai Lin flexible book please continue to do more from that book. I'm in chapter 4 and it's a labor of love.🎺😎
ОтветитьNice....
ОтветитьI'm new here. 🙈
ОтветитьI'm a percussionist, but I am extremely interested in purchasing materials that are geared specifically for brass players. I remember my college band director demonstrating the articulation he wanted to hear as the band members played. I want to learn those techniques as well. In other words, I want to learn how to specifically articulate any given passage for all genre's of music. What book would you recommend? Thanks
ОтветитьI just wish they weren't so boring... I dread opening that book.
Ответитьthis is very helpful thank you
Ответитьmore vids!
ОтветитьGood job
ОтветитьVery insightful, when you first get your Arban book it can be overwhelming with so much info
ОтветитьFine job, I love attention to detail. Mendez recorded these, which of course became the gold standard. I love all of these, but can’t match your skill. You actually play the last one faster than Mendez.
ОтветитьRyan thanks for this video. I have started with no 29 and the exercises around. I have the arban book but this video has helped me zero in on exercises that I need.
ОтветитьFunny watched this video after practicing arban and those where the exact same exercises i choose and my trumpet teachers over the years have chosen for me
Ответитьsuonati molto bene complimenti, ma un pò scolastici nell' esecuzione con poco feeling e fraseggio, personalmente preferisco altri esercizi dell'arban più melodici
ОтветитьIt would be so nice if dudes zoomed in on the fingerings for those of us who can't read music.
ОтветитьWere those powerlifting goals genuine 😳?
ОтветитьGreat information, thank you
ОтветитьDebemos tener un criterio paar parecido porque son ejercicios que hago siempre. Menos el número 2. Lo voy a sumar. Gran video!
