Im just gonna say some things that might even be a rant lol but idrc bc I have no one else to tell. And I’m so sorry if this comment is long, but I appreciate anyone talking the time to read it. Man, how do I put this.. so my best friend and I have been apart for about 4 years now after moving away from the school we attended for 9 years. In so many words we drifted apart and the new school he went to, he basically built an egoistic persona around that school to where he shut anyone and everything out that had anything to do with our previous school. With that being said, 4 years have passed, 4 years of the excruciating pain of missing and longing for him while knowing he’s so much happier without me. Every few years I’ll add him back on snap and try to catch up with him but every time he don’t care. 2 years ago he told me he forgot about me but I still wasn’t satisfied. Just the other day I finally confronted him and basically told him I wanted an answer as to why we don’t talk anymore. He told me ,”I just don’t talk to no one from that school. If they text me, then I’ll text back.” I then asked him, “even your best friend?” He said,” should’ve texted me ,and I would’ve texted back.” I’m sorry but that got my blood boiling. So I finally left him with one final thought. In so many words I told him he lost himself somewhere along the way, but not to forget how close we used to be. I finally ended it with ,”have fun with your new college life.” to which he left me on open, possibly bc he was angry at me or bc he knew every word I wrote was true. Either way I blocked him bc I finally, FINALLY got the closure I needed after all these years. He makes me feel like I’m in the wrong when I know that I’m not. He was so toxic, but he was the best friend I ever had, so even after blocking him, I’m still gonna miss him him with every fiber of my being which still kills me, but I’ll heal. I just don’t know who I am without him or what I’ll do, but I’ll be ok… again so sorry for this longgggg comment but I literally have no one else to tell this to. Thank you for putting up with my rant lol.

It's been 2 years , I met him when I was 9 years old , I liked him , he liked me , we both still do.


But it's different now , we've been seperated , we don't even maintain an eye contact. Straight ignorance, not just him but me too.
