Do you know if I can use this on front differential bushings for a Lincoln aviator, I’m not seeing any open spaces to fill, maybe you can give me a few pointers? Thanks 🙏🏼

i drilled some of it out and it was ok lol

Best thing is to look for flexible polyurethane , there is few on the market 3m is expensive and maybe not soo flexible. Some urethane or polyurethane are more flexable than 3m this way you can have less vibrations.

Used the same stuff to try to make solid motor mounts and it does work for a little while but crumbled apart probably too much torque. Also you feel more vibration. Looks perfect for bushings in this vid. When it's eventually dry its solid like a hockey puck. Fyi for anyone about to do, this stuff is very very stiff, and messy if you touch it. 2 part poly prob better if you can remove part. Gonna try this on a element rear end - Thanks for vid

ok my whole front suspension busted right side up lower bushings the axel tarns line too got it done for only $740 but other side drivers might be ready to bust also cant get it done until january i was thinging of using flex seal which i used on plubming in bath tub back 6 or more yaers ago it's still holding solid also used in basement front wall is exposed was leaking two cans of flex seal stopped the damage until get it front of house fixed inside and outside and im thinking of getting the cans large size to coat my roof

when this stuff hardens it's like solid rubber and better than any paper tar coating

poablly cost less than paying a roofer like $1000

Actually, just replace those metal rollers with solid rubber tubes (with very small ID). Then fill the gaps between those tubes with rubber glue.

Hi. Lot of bushing have a 75 Shore (strong unit). Lot of polyuréthane in mono don't be better than 40 Shore. The only one i see better is 3m polyurétane for glass (60-65 shore).

Betters more flexible solution, but, it is curious, y do the same to my Subaru 5 years ago, and it is running very well.
You don't need the plates, it is more and unnecessary work. A point, you only need to remove the loose rubber, nothing more. Just keep the rubber that it is still fixed in the bushing, and fill the void.

That is just great idea, thank you. I have a loud clunking noise on the passenger rear of our 2009 Nissan Sentra. I've read that it is kind of typical for Nissan Sentras to have that problem (for some reason it is always on PR side. The noise started after I hit smth on the road w/very loud sound. I thought that some struts and shocks were blown and replaced all of them. But the noise didn't go away. Same sound like smth is going fell apart. Though I did some suspension work on 3 of our cars, but this project w/dropping the Rear Beam even slightly, supporting it, that is too complicated for me, and easy to mess up. I've purshased that 3M polyurethane, and try to do the job your smart way. Thank you again.

I can't believe this ridicule thing still exist. THIS IS GARBAGE. DO NOT DO IT. It creates a lot of vibration that you feel like the steering wheel will break apart and the car will explode. THIS WAS THE BIGGER STUPIDIITY I EVER DONE. I remove them and put back the OEM. What a stupid Idea, only from a stupid brain.
