Are you married? 😏😅
ОтветитьThe funniest part of Scrubs, I think, are the inner monologues the characters have throughout the entire episode, every episode!
ОтветитьReact to casualty and holby please 😂
ОтветитьI’m an undergrad bio/pre-p.a. major and my boyfriend, who knows nothing about medical science, loves this show and has recommended it to me so many times. I think I’ll actually give it a shot
ОтветитьYassss
Ответитьyou have the most relaxing voice in the WORLD if you were my doctor i would never be scared to get a shot again
ОтветитьFor some reason I am watching this reaction/review, and I am remembering my time in a hospital after the surgery. Few hours I got out of reanimation, and I was so.frricking.thirsty. But at the same time, I saw all the fuss going around that morning when I just go to the hospital, and also remember being absolutely embarrassed to call a nurse and ask for a drink. I was thinking, here am I, just thirsty, but there's an old and slightly delusional old lady they have to take care of next door, someone being brought in with something serious maybe, and such. I have no idea now why I had to wait until it was almost unbearable to ask for a glass of water. Later on, one of the nurses caught onto my apologetic tone, and, making sure I can hold objects firmly left me the entire jug of water with a pack of straws, and I was incredibly grateful for that.
It was less emotional for me during the nights, though, as for some reason three nights I was in the hospital, they were incredibly peaceful and quiet... though I think most of the action would be going on in traumatology.
I know this is a year old, but I love your personalization with it! While it's cool to know if it's accurate, I'm less interested in that and more interested in your relation to it, so thank you for this video!
ОтветитьIn highschool, I had to get blood drawn when I had an emergency at summer camp that landed me in the emergency room. My parents werentvthere, but I was 18 and so it wasn't a huge issue.
I told the women drawing about to draw blood that I was scared of needles, and she got pissed with me and snapped at me that she hears that from everyone and to stop whining.
I did, and the blood draw left bruises all down my arm. My cousins a nurse and was livid. It was a lot of bruising, and I didn't, and don't have any medical issues that would contribute. It had never happened before or after.
Looking back, as an adult, I would not let someone being that bitchy touch me. I would call an immediate stop, and request someone else, or it wouldn't happen.
Thinking about it, I've had some bad luck with doctors. No wonder I haven't seen one in years.
If you need higher quality versions of an episode your reviewing let me know I have them on dvd and I could upload it to google drive if you need the clips. :) Love your channel
ОтветитьYeahhh it always best to explain to your patient if yo mess up n what's goin on. 😅 cause i been that patient who confused what's going on when something clearly wrong. Like, once when i was in middle school my lungs just gave out for a bit so they gave me adrenalin to keep me wake while they try an figure me out.....suddenly heart was racin like crazy an i was pacing all around my room n outside my room unable to chill. Turns out they over dosed me [giving me more than enough to keep me wake] an somehow mixed charts. So they gave me a dose for the adult size man next door rather a small child.
ОтветитьI didn't watch the entire video because I WANT to watch the show! I will graduate medschool and start working as an intern this summer! I will watch this before I start working!
ОтветитьI first watched and followed Scrubs as a high school student as it was being broadcasted. Randomly started the series again when I got free time after finally earning my license as doctor some 15 years after that pilot episode. Let's just say the whole first season with JD, Turk, and Elliott as 1st year residents hit me in every emotion and though I could've possibly experienced in my first year in the hospital. It's a wonderful show.
I tried doing the same with House and it just had an opposite effect on me. What I used to think was so cool was just downright irritating to me.
I plan to check out ER eventually. I only vaguely remember a few episodes of it from my childhood (my uncle was a med student when ER was THE medical show, and he would make me watch it with him back then.) Supposedly, if Scrubs is the most accurate in how day to day mundane life is for the hospital staff, ER is the most accurate in how a hospital actually works.
Mate this was so much fun to watch and you come across very well. Cheers
ОтветитьIn a funny way, you kinda really have "doctor" written all over your face - in the sense that you have that certain very pleasant way of expression (vocally, but also in terms of your face and gestures)... y'know, where you just naturally slip into feeling safe and comfortable when talking about your health or maybe getting some bad news.
Ответить“I remember being really slow when asked to put a catheter in”
I SHOULD HOPE SO!!
It's such a relief that you like it! My dad's a doc and said it was the most accurate. I love the series and have watched all the way through multiple times 😊
Ответитьlol Why is this like the only video where Dr. Hope's pupils are visible?? usually all you can see is just his irises lmao
ОтветитьSo happy this came in my recommended.
ОтветитьWait did your first cardiac arrest pt live? The one that was face down in a pool of blood?
ОтветитьI've just started watching Scrubs because of your videos. It's both hilarious and harrowing. The honesty about life, death and, I'm sure, being a medic, is raw. Thank you. Ps, I love your commentary on these 🤗🙏
ОтветитьSo so good 😊 started watching Scrubs now 🙈😜
ОтветитьHe did a dolly zoom to emphasize his, nooooooo, when it came to competitive medical professionals
ОтветитьI love these videos.
ОтветитьFor a reaction video you probably shouldn't watch the episode right before.
ОтветитьWould you be interested in watching/reacting/reviewing the final episode of season 8 of scrubs? It was an incredible way to say goodbye to a character from a hospital that was his life for eight long years, he was truly missed and still is to this day I like to think.
And we don’t talk about season nine by the way. It’s a spin off, not an actual new season.
Of all the medical things I've had done in 33 years, an NG tube is definitely one I will avoid having ever again if I can.
ОтветитьNotice that in the intro JD pur the rx the wrong way...the hearth is on the left. Not sure if it's intentional
ОтветитьMy job at my first ER code was to hold an arm. Yep, hold an arm. This was a long time ago. We didn't really have the equipment to handle patients more than say 300 pounds. This woman was easily 500 pounds. We couldn't get all of her on the table without risk of a weight shift causing her to roll off. So, I held an arm level, and other people managed the other limbs. How did she die? She choked on a piece of meat at lunch. The EMTs apologized because it took almost 30 minutes just to get her out of the house and onto their gurney. She was very dead on arrival, of course. But, the family was present. So, we went thru the drill of chest compressions, meds, etc...
These days, 300 pound patients are common, and we have equipment to fit the bill.
The nostalgic diploma macropharmacologically sail because teaching radiographically fold circa a capable plot. righteous, itchy store
ОтветитьOof memories. They had to remove some fluid from my upper abdomen lower chest after an operation I had once. They were able to go through the scar tissue, but standing and holding my shirt up while a standing, older doctor with shakey hands just shanked me was a little heartpounding.
ОтветитьThe craven fall puzzlingly confess because cover causally like per a accurate street. cheap, merciful neon
ОтветитьReally guys? Scrubs was the most realistic medical show in the US at one point? You guys aren't doing too good are you's..
ОтветитьI feel like "do not show up early" is an underrated intern survival strategy. You will not have time to orient yourself and review cases. You will not feel more prepared for your day. You will be assigned a ton of work doing things you're not really comfortable with as soon as you walk through the door.
ОтветитьWhat does “junior” doctor mean? Isn’t a doctor a doctor?
ОтветитьThe point about Dr Cox's "throw the pills at the patient"-speech isn't that that's how you would actually do it. He's obviously being sarcastic for effect. What he's actually saying is "did you really page me to find out how much acetaminophen (tylenol) to give to a patient? you should be able to figure this one out on your own, especially since the consequences of screwing it up are likely to be negligible, unless you are stupid enough to actually just try to feed the patient a literal handful of pills"
Ответитьthey have a podcast on spotify and they talk about all the background stuff
Ответитьthey had an actual doctor on staff to help with the medical portion, he was what jd was based on
ОтветитьThe way he looked exactly the same, only completely different. The shame...that all I could think about was how hard it was for me....the hardest part is how quickly I had to move on.
ОтветитьI'm old enough that I'm very accustomed to "similar to" and ":different from". I'll never get used to hearing "different to".
ОтветитьIt’s not so hard to drop an ng tube. I’ve done it many times
ОтветитьThe good doctor is a good show
ОтветитьOh God i remember my house job .....1st rotation in cardio, pt went into cardiac arrest then V.fib & died.....i felt so guilty...still remember it
ОтветитьPerché si chiama

Il foglio illustrativo dei medicinali?
Si usava e si usa ancora come termine in Italia
I thought the first episode was so insightful, I couldn't really fault it, so I just spent the whole time comparing it to my first day, hope you enjoy! I will revisit this series, so what was your favourite Scrubs moment?
