I’m SOO glad I made it to your channel!
Not to mention, what it took for me to end up here..
I had a common problem with just about all the tutorials I attempted to watch.
They were either not detailed enough on the basic interactions or they were way too fast and not descriptive enough.
Being a first time owner of such a camera, I will say those tutorials started making me scared to play around with my camera lol
THEREFORE YOUR WAY OF PROVIDING US NEWBIES WITH SUCH AN INCREDIBLE, DETAILED & THOROUGHLY INFORMATIVE TUTORIAL WAS SIMPLY PERFECT & I AM VERY GRATEFUL!
I also didn’t need to pause your video for any reason, I was able to keep up & follow right along step by step.
THANK YOUUUUUUU!
A very useful comparison, thank you. What is a good alternative to XRaw Studio, as it appears it is not supported any more; or at least when I try to run it, most of the features are not present. If you could recommend other software that will let you work from a RAW file to add a film simulation, that would be appreciated. Thanks
ОтветитьThank you for explaining the film sim concept so clearly. I've even saved the graph and the blues images on my phone as a reminder to help me choose. Bravo!
ОтветитьThanks for the instructions on X Raw Studio. Question when you have your X100V connected to the computer and running the app does your camera make any noise? Mine has a mild hum/hiss sound when connected and using the app.
Ответить老哥在悉尼啊,看到了haymarket

Appreciate your efforts 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💐🙏🏻😊
Excellent explanation of sims & Raw. I am enthused to practice. Thank you.
ОтветитьI have to say, I have a soft, marshmallow spot for Sepia, my personal take is that it creates magic with sombre scenes that are essentially littered with white objects, something for example, like an array of white Roman statues in dim light is perfect!
ОтветитьDear Jay. Tnx for all hard work you are putting in these videos. Just briliant and helpfull!
ОтветитьThank you for this great information!
ОтветитьThis is really cool!
ОтветитьWell explained.
ОтветитьThat was fantastic! Thank you!!!!

ОтветитьI just ordered a Fujifilm camera and now I'm super hyped. Didn't even know this was all possible. Thanks for your video and clear explanation. Can't wait to shoot some photos. 🤗
ОтветитьHi, great video. On X-T3 "Classic Neg." Is not present. Is there a way to have this profile by changing something on other simulation films ? Obviously I talk about obtain the same effect of Classic Neg directly in camera. Thanks in advance. Best regards. Alessandro.
Ответитьto use fujifilm x raw studio, do you need to have a fujifilm camera ? I have a Canon and apparently it doesn't see the .CR2 format (it's a proprietary raw format of Canon)
ОтветитьThank you so much!! This was super helpful! 😊🙏🏻
ОтветитьThanks mate. Im a rookie..Your explanation helps a lot.
ОтветитьPro Neg Hi because of the best skin tones.
ОтветитьThis is cool man, Thanks a lot for showing the PC editing.
ОтветитьHi Jay, thanks for the simplified comparison. I am using X-T20. Is film simulation, say Velvia, in X-T20 the same as in other Fujifilm camera bodies?
Although color in photo is art and taste, I beleieve the bottom line is the capability to reproduce the color that our naked eye experienced at the very moment when we trigger the camera shutter. On top of that we can apply film simulation for visual effects. It is not easy as it sounds. In your comparison of "BLUE" sky, which color is the sky that our naked eyes saw?

wowww what a helpful video man!
ОтветитьI really wish my XT3 camera profiles worked on XRaw Studio. It would be that much easier to load simulations back onto the camera.
ОтветитьWow I think I just found my new favorite fujifilm channel! Thank you for all your time and effort. You got a new subscriber here
ОтветитьThank you,great vid,will save ,
ОтветитьGreatly Explained
ОтветитьGreat video love the film simulations got my XT3 and x100v loaded with recipes from Fuji X weekly so much better than sitting in front of a computer editing for hours
ОтветитьHi man nice video does this works on xt20 as well?
ОтветитьThis video is amazing!! Thanks Jay. Deserved a subscribe and like
ОтветитьOMG, what a way to explain complex topics in an understandable manner. I finally have an understanding of the goal of each film simulation mode. Thank you, thank you, thank you :)
ОтветитьDo you get Classic Negative or Eterna Bleach Bypass filters in Fuji X Raw Studio regardless of the model of camera ? I use X-T30 but man I love Classic Negative look.
ОтветитьI absolutely love Acros with all the filters! Jay, thanks so much! Every Fuji shooter needs to watch this!
Ответитьthe exact video I needed for my new x100v. thank you so much <3
Ответитьthis video is one of the best videos ive seen about fujifilm film simulations so far
Ответить& Amazingly well put together videos keep up the great work fr you are helping a huge community out with this amazing content!! Especially someone like myself who just got a X100V my first Fuji body ever & made the switch from only have used Nikon body’s before.
ОтветитьI wish X Raw Studio was on the iPad Pro!!! but I have Lightroom regardless.
ОтветитьGreat Help!
ОтветитьYou're video is really easy to understand and I love that you keep it brief but informative. I just bought a fuji cam and I'm trying to learn how the film simulation works. Awesome job!
ОтветитьPhotos shown side by side for comparison do not differ from each other
ОтветитьExcellent video! Can you make jpgs files using film simulations from raw files in-camera?
