I’ve wanted a DSLR camera since I was a teen. Now that I have the money for one it doesn’t seem worth it because every video I’ve seen in my opinion the iPhone is close enough sometimes even better than the DSLR.
Ответить“Rrrrrrussia with love” cute 😊
Great video, thanks for the info
As someone that shoots in the raw on my iphone camera, this is an even more interesting comparison to me, so glad I found it. When shooting in the raw on iphone I have good results, but only when willing to manually adjust every factor like zoom old school, since you are relying on none of that pre-processing digitally or auto functions of a dslr. I will say, putting a macro lens with a diffuser on an iphone, makes me feel like I might not need to buy a new dslr upgrade, only new phone models. Will be looking forward to if you make a video comparing the new iphone 15 when it comes out, if it does have the rumoured periscope lens.
ОтветитьLove this detailed video
ОтветитьI think someone is not using the dslr as supposed to
ОтветитьIt depends on what you choose. You have the alternative of taking dozens or hundreds of photos with automatic fire, letting the software on your phone do all the "art" of taking the photo that is close to perfection but to the conception of which you did not contribute much (out of several hundred photos, you surely choose ten very good ones to admire on the already oversaturated Instagram) or choose your own camera settings (manual of course) and then spend with the several dozen RAW photos on Lightroom to bring out something remarkable. The act of photography is for many also a form of meditation, of union with the reality that surrounds you and not just a simple push of a button. This is also about personal satisfaction for many of us, the satisfaction that that photo is your own creation and not the computer inside the over-tech phone
ОтветитьHas iphone a 4:3 sensor? Or 3:2?
ОтветитьThe new AI image creator technology now days people talking about will come to phones camera soon.
ОтветитьI am planning to buy Vivo X80 at less price than DSLR and x90 pro as they both are expensive.... Is x80 good for casual photography when you travel ??????
ОтветитьI have a pixel 6 pro, and was planning to buy Nikon D750 (already have some nikon lenses). Your video has convinced me otherwise. And also reminds the challenges I have faced with getting perfect pictures from my old D3100!
ОтветитьCellphones are great for stills
Use it all the time
Still need the dslr camera for action and low light
Absolutely geniall comparison. For daily usage is cell phone absolutely no brainer. There is so many situation when even you have DLSR in bag, you can not catch them (few mins unpacking, setting.) But Iphone is in pocket and i can get unique (no again repetable moment in child history) shot. I am taking photos for last 30 years using DLSR starting with Canon 300D now with 5DSR mainly focused on real estate and related commercial photo. Even about 5 years back i picked my DSLR (think it was 5D3 and 7D that times) i used them even for day trips to mountains. Oh how i am glad, that we have such powerfull cell phones, which are absolutely able to take classic daily photos in much better queality. But still, using DSLR on actions as wedding, real estate, sport is only thing they can be used and are kings. Thanks for video ! Keep good work, sir.
ОтветитьIphone alwas good natural
ОтветитьI cannot like this video. Coming from a very generic perspective comparing the "look" of a picture is just an insult to photographers and pro cameras. Sure iphone gets the shit done on a tiny little screen, but photography is far beyond that. At the end of day, it's all about details. Why do you use an iphone instead of a nokia phone from 90s? They both can send text messages and make phone calls. Same idea here. I am pretty offended as a nikon user seeing the old legend D850 being compared with an iphone and you claim they are "similiar"
ОтветитьMy iPhone 13 max pro is way sharper than my Leica CL apsc sensor 😢
ОтветитьZoom is the only reason to need a system camera.
ОтветитьTo be honest you don't need those big bulky annoying cameras anymore if you have learned about photography and know how to edit photos in order to make it exceptional👍iPhones are more than good enough.
ОтветитьI've just realised, the DSLR is closer to human eye. The iphone looks like it has CGI influence which it has a bit. I've noticed that, with peoiple now using ultra HQ footage on IG videos, it still has a "fake" feel to it.
Ответить"iPhone is equally better than a pro camera". That's all true until your wedding photographer comes in with a bunch of iPhones at your wedding. 🤣
ОтветитьI'm dying to by $1500 flagship phone to take the pictures of the buildings or restaurant food. For everyday pictures the phones def convenient, however I wouldn't use it for nothing for more important moments in my life. I take my DSLR with me for vacation, family gathering or outing, even a business trip to the foreign countries I wouldn't return anytime soon. Also, good luck taking good pictures with a phone in a low light condition of the people or moving objects which happens 80% times in my case.
