Late game I would focus on Eldritch Blast as the primary source of damage. There are items that can improve its damage, it doesn't require a spell slot, and it improves with character level, not Warlock level as you mentioned. Also, Draconic bloodline gives you bonus AC that doesn't stack with Mage Armor.

Is this for the achievement? Like Sigma said, Eldritch Blast is your best tool to abuse based on the mechanics of the game and the gear allowed. So it’d start warlock.

Edit: Actually I’d start Cleric so I can get Guidance asap.

I did this with my evil Durge, starting as a warlock. Of course, Eldritch Blast got me through with some clutch flurry of blows lol. I could at least use slayer form on major fights. Barbarian is actually great because of the dialogue choices you get. Sometimes that was my biggest struggle because all the dialogue options were so good.

Ray of frost on wet targets for double damage ain't bad if you are tired of eldritch blasting.

I just went and cheated with a level 12 mod to get the achievement, I don't care 😂
