ОтветитьI have seen very slow moving Krait with Facebook blue band when I was riding motorcycle in overgrowth. Due to it's colorful color I suspect it as extremely venomous. The head looked elipid liie kraits.

ОтветитьStudy & research still going on every krait species in India. Why the Krait family is so venomous, which krait is most venomous, that's all answers will be revealed very soon. King cobra release 50 m.g of poison by 1 bite where krait only push 1/2 m.g of poison but still both are very competitive snakes.
Personally I love Banded krait, the snake killer! 🐍

I'm surprised that the BURMESE KRAIT (Bungarus magnimaculatus) is not listed for India in "The Reptile Database". Nice clip; my fave is the Banded Krait. Last year (2021) a new species from China was described: Bungarus suzhenae (Shuzen's Krait).
