To get the most battery cycles out of your phone, you should never fast charge. The faster you charge past 0.8C deposits more lithium on the anode, which is what causes loss of capacity. If your phone charges to 50% in 30 minutes before it steps down, that’s 1C. The iPhone 14’s & 15’s are also capable of charging at 27w if you use a power adapter that supplies 30w or more, which is even worst. The slower you can reasonably charge given your schedule, the better. 5w and 12w power adapters are available from Apple, and a wireless Qi charger delivers 7.5w and minimal heat.

You also shouldn’t charge to 100% every night, even with optimized charging slowing that process down, it drastically reduces the cycles you’ll get out of your battery. Lithium deposits on the anode more quickly every moment that it’s charged past 4V (~80%). Google “BU-808” and then “BU-401a” and read the Battery University articles for facts with sources.

the best way to charge any gadgets is to buy a small electric fan & use it while charging any gadgets to keep it in room temperature while charging.. Because heat is the number one enemy of the battery.. I always do this & all my gadgets are 100% in room temp while charging.. it is much more better if you room is airconditioned & have electric fan on while charging or even while gaming.. but I do not game wirh my new phone... I game with my back up older phone not in my new phone... I also do all the possible way to keep my phone in safe temperature.. I am not using bright screen & not using 5g or lte when in sunlight or outside when it is hot.. I keep using wifi whenever it is possible... & always use low power mode as much as possible..

My gf has had her 21 ultra for a little over 2 years now. Heavy user specially with cameras. Does all the "do not" regarding charging like dont let your battery go to 0% then charge to 100%. Uses all sorts of charging cable. Her phone battery life is still impressive

You bought it, use it how and when you want and charge it how and when you want. If you have to replace your battery cost between 70 and $100 who cares. My phone works for me when I want it how I want it and not the other way around.

There is one important fact to keep in mind and that's batteries get chemically degraded no matter how you gonna treat with it although air and temperature can make some difference but it's mostly about how much you use your phone and the work load pressure you put on the battery and there's nothing you can do to stop or prevent aging or degrading process, unless you don't use your device that much other than simple phone call answers of light usage. The more you use the shorter battery life span would get and the less usage the more battery life (higher capacity) you'll have.
If your battery has already degraded to the point (75-80%)which requires replacement none of these methods in this video will really do much for it!
