Normal AST &ALT but alightly high GGT ( results 43 &51) can chemo do this?

disappointing. And due to the low probability of the explained conditions, irrelevant.
Why not showing the all cause mortaity curves for ALT + AST ? why then not discussing values >40 and < 200 for either of those? tat would be relevant, because 30%+ of the population is affected.

my blood tests came back and everything was good except my ALP was very low - what does this mean? The lab did not explain anything. Can this be the reason for Rosacea and/or weight gain?
My AST and ALT were normal

What is the diagnosis with a test of:

1. Elevated ALT is 118 IU/L (reference range is up to 50)

2. AST is 48 IU/L (reference value is up to 50).

2. Elevated GGT is 233 IU/L (reference range is 8-61)

3. ALP is 108 IU/L (reference range is 35-108)

3. Lipase & Amylase not stated

4. Normal Bilirubin levels but Conjugated is 4umol/L (reference range is up to 5).

Renal function test all within the normal range.

I drink alcohol almost everyday, on an average of 3bottles per day, but atimes, can go as high as 6bottles.

3)AST/ALT=0.5
4)A/G =1.85

I had fever vomiting for a week then had my ultrasound and blood work done in the 11th day of my first symptoms
My blood test showed multiple times higher liver enzymes alt was the highest tho.
I started developing jaundice at the 10th day.
I had my ct and another ultrasound by the end of the second week but it was all good except for a few lymphnodes enlarged next to the gallbladder.
On the 19th day i had a new blood work and it showes all enzymes decreased drastically and it is not too far from highs normal levels. Thats being said bilirubin kept increasing and hit 125 umol/l while it was 77 in the first blood work.
I am feeling much better but still cant eat normally because i get uncomfortable feelings in my guts

Any ideas?

I suggest you look into anti dressants. I have MTHFR c677t. My liver detoxes 70% slower. I allowed myself to be put on an anti present well butrin an enzyme I a had under control rose.

Could raised ALT and AST be due to beta blockers and/or anti-coagulants?

My alt is 20 and my ast is 20. This is the second time they have been the same. Is the ratio important to look at? My ALP is within normal limits and my doctor didn't comment on it so I don't know if I should bring it up. I have been diagnosed with fatty liver in the past with NASH 1 but I lost about 50 lbs since then but gaining 15 back. My last CT Scan did not show fatty liver so I am just concerned about the ratio since my 15 lb gain.

Very clear video. What is the potential diagnosis please if there is an isolated abnormal ALT of 127? I am talking about a young nondrinker who does not so suffer from haemochromatosis. I mention haemochromatosis because his serum ferritin is also high, as is his creatinine. No viral hepatitis detected.

I’m sorry but I think you’re forgetting something pretty important. ALKP also elevates with inflammatory conditions like IBD

Alt 40. AST 30. Alp 47. Ggt 85u/l.
Have not drank alcohol for 5 years. What’s up with ggt being 20 points out of range?

For me, my higher than normal liver function tests revealed a silent problem that was going on. My ALT and AST started getting out of range growing higher each year (Over a three year period by the lab work results). My ALT hit 153 and AST was 88. ALT by the chart was over 113 past normal and AST was 40 points over. So what was causing my Liver to start hitting the panic button??? Well, an ultrasound of the liver showed the Renal Cell Carcinoma that was growing on my right kidney. MRI showed the tumor growing on my left kidney. From what I have read, the ALT enzyme reacts when the RCC gets into the renal artery. Well, two surgeries later, loss of right kidney and a piece of my left my numbers are back in range. I was in good shape, non-drinker, non-smoker, exercised everyday. If your numbers are getting out of whack and your Dr's tell you to stop eating fast food (That's what the dude told me, turned out to be Cancer) just make sure to keep looking at the problem. My bad Liver Function tests saved my life because I kept trying to find out why it was bad and I indeed found out why.

My test include AGPT and SGOT not sure what it means.

What could a high AST:ALT ratio (>2) with low to normal GGT suggest?

So with a small raise in GGT on blood test but all others are fine is most likely cause I drank a shit ton of alcohol 4 days before during a crazy weekend?
