A series of accessible workshop videos including poetry, drama, breakdancing, clowning, art, and dance.

Meet Jo Munton

Jo is a puppeteer, poet and performer who has worked with many different people in many different places. A strong believer in the power of collective creative exploration, Jo focuses on enabling people who find it hard to engage with traditional teaching methods.

Her primary objective is to make her collective creative adventures accessible to all.
Jo takes this passion from her own dyslexia and narcolepsy, which has often meant that education and courses were inaccessible to her and so she wanted to create a way to engage with a subject beyond traditional teaching.

Shadow Puppet Theatre

Make a shadow puppet theatre from a cardboard box, grease proof paper, cereal packets and chopsticks. You can make your own puppets and theatre from simple materials you can find around the home, here Jo shows you how to put make your theatre and put on your own puppet show.

Project Funding

This project is funded by Arts Council Wales through the Individual Stabilisation Fund and is designed to support individuals, freelance artists, and creative practitioners, as they navigate the challenges placed on their livelihoods due to of Covid-19.

The aim of the project is to bring together a diverse range of activities and skillsets, with materials and/or activities that could be created at home during lockdown, but that could also be used in wider group settings post lockdown as required.
