I think this is my favorite movie now

The accent, cadence and words used surrounded me in my childhood in the South in the 1970s. This movie got it right.

Personally I like the relationship between Karl and Frank's mother. Like whenever she interacts with him, it's like she's talking to a second child. An older brother of Frank's that she's happy to have around and feel safe. She didn't even seem scared when he confessed to murdering his own mother.

I watched this movie a week ago. Been stopping at KFC to get their fries and a biscuit for the drive home from work. A lot.

I saw this guy at the local Walmart. He was working in the potted meat section. Hmmm...hmmmm

Watch out for some of those hillbilly people. They sometimes use their own children for sacrifices. My late father put on the dumb act, but it was an act. His accent was way more pronounced than this character's. He and many of my relatives on both sides were crazy people. Unlike this character, they are very vicious people toward children and others when they have the upper hand. Growing up like that was tough. It was a dirty trick. I feel sorry for children who are trapped in that life, but there is a pay day for the abusers. They pretend not to get it, but when the walls crumble, they cry the loudest. I try to help people. I know what it's like to live like that. Becoming educated is the only hope of escape.

How many of you women would actually fix biscuits at 4am? Even canned or frozen biscuits..? Doyle lost a good woman that night.

LMAO!!! KFC hated my guts for a good while after this movie blew up in popularity. I'd ALWAYS order xtra cat-heads...and not to be egotistical in any way, I could do a "fair" Carl lol.

Carl's parents treated him like a dog the had some love for ,but also it shaped him and mad him a not so bad guy. Felt sorry for him, he deserved better.
