Ответитьsubscribed and liked. Thank you sir
ОтветитьI'm still laughing at the "sudu"
ОтветитьOk, but this doesn't answer a key question. Is there a password set on the root account on a new install and if so how is it determined and is it secure. I don't like the idea of some random admin account created that I don't know the password to. The first place my mind goes is that the Ubuntu coders could create a backdoor. Probably paranoia, but in IT it's probably good to be a little paranoid. The second place my mind goes is wanting to make sure the root user if it does have a default password isn't 123456.
ОтветитьGood stuff. Thanks!
ОтветитьI am new to Linux. I need someone to chat with for help.🙁

ОтветитьIf only I had found this years ago, I would have saved my sanity. Or at least I could have updated my machine. I subscribe and like in gratitude. ОтветитьI get a "user is not in the sudoers file" message. How do I get through this?
I just installed Oracle Linux in order to do an assignment for a class, which is going through a 2 hour LinkedIn course, and I came across this error, which I don't know how to fix. Been searching online but the solutions don't get me past this step, and I can't seem to find the GRUB menu at startup either.
I installed Oracle Linux in Virtualbox, and created a user during installation. Now I'm watching this video but can't get past the that message. Please help!
