Just watched Trigun Stampede and have been a huge fan of the original Anime. And man... I never would have thought to say this after the first few episodes, but damn... Its one of the best Anime I saw lately.
ОтветитьI thought Stampede was amazing. Loved the story, animation and acting. The dub was amazing. But more than anything I was blown away by the ost. Best of the year and yes I think even better than Frieren.
ОтветитьI wonder if Nightow saw the coralation between DMC and Trigun fans. Cuz there are a lot of parallels between DMC 3 and Stampede.
Ответитьthis is why it is so good then
ОтветитьKinda resent Connor for not watching Trigun Stampede for this interview ngl
ОтветитьI watched two eps when it came out and thought it was an episodic villain of the week type story so I dropped it. Then this encouraged me to start it again and holy shit to think I was just one episode from witnessing the madness that went down in episode 3 OH MY FKIN GOD!!!! It just gets better from there too. Everyone should give this a chance I dont think there's anyone who won't enjoy it.
ОтветитьLove orange studios!!!
ОтветитьThe new Trigun anime didn't do it. The soundtrack didn't seem very original, and the world didn't feel like a western as it should. The new trigun is not Trigun.
ОтветитьJust watched it today. For me, the original does a few things better than Stampede, but Stampede actually does a LOT of things better than the original.
ОтветитьTrigun Stampede Vash looked and felt like the son of the original Trigun Vash.
ОтветитьI don't know why but I compare trigun to cowboy bebop is that weird and maybe a bit of lupin the third
ОтветитьSo which one is better the 90s version or the new one?
ОтветитьI personally didn't like the new Vash design or the humour and the plot, but from an animation fan standpoint it looks gorgeous 🎉 it's not my cup of tea, but maybe it could be yours
Ответитьgotta love another masterpiece!!!!
ОтветитьI haven't watched the og one, I had a feeling I'd feel iffy if watches og one first. I'm glad I didn't. love trigun: stampede. I really do.
ОтветитьA must watch
ОтветитьBy "he's working on Kekkai Sensen", I hope he means we're getting a 3rd season.
Ответитьjust finished Trigun Stampede! IT WAS AMAZING. (felt like some cuts were jarring, but overall i loved it! 5/5!, music was spot on too) the animation felt so fresh!
ОтветитьOk so I haven’t seen this yet. So I hope the reason it took this long is because the studios had Reasonable working hours and adequate pay for their employees with no Crunch
ОтветитьI tried to watch the new "Trigun Stampede" but it was unbelievably boring and jarring to watch.
ОтветитьI gotta watch this whole podcast! Trigun stampede was awesome! Love this type of content where we get to go into so much depth with an actual animator!
ОтветитьThis is astonishing. As a fan of the franchise and an animation student this is so inspiring to listen. One of the foundations for working in the industry is being passionate and Studio Orange has definitely showed great examples of this. The love for the og material was palpable on Stampede. Thank you so much!! ❤️✌️
ОтветитьThe new trigun stampede is a masterpiece !!!!
ОтветитьThe 12-24 episodes format still restricting amazing histories. Some times I really think 15-16 will be better for many 12 animes 😢
ОтветитьLoved Trigun, but didn’t really care for the changes in Stampede especially because it wasn’t like FMAB where they were going back to create a more source accurate version, they just wanted to do a new version with anime original changes and CG animation. Which I find jarring when used for character animation even when it’s done really well, it’s just that uncanny valley feeling
ОтветитьMeh, trash.
ОтветитьStamped got so much negativity from the OG fans and is Unffair and unjustifies. only biased by the Nostalgia.
I watched Stamped because its cover cought my atention. I really enjoyed it, in general animation the 3D didnt work that well (specially in the exagerated expressions the original had, those don't traduce that well in 3D) but the ACTION the action was amazing. As I enojeyd Stamped a lot, I went stright up to the 98's version (So no Nostalgia feeling,I watched one after the other), and I think both are really good in their own way. After finishing I was like "My Favourite Triggun would be a combination of the two versions!" because each had things I liked more or less than the other.
And based on how S1 ended I belive I will get that in S2,because it ended giving me this feeling that Stamped works as a prequel in comparison. So I belive thats why Vash looked younger, because this was the time of the First Incident which in the 98' already happened.
Anyways! I only know that in general I actully like stamped more. And can't wait for S2!!!
5 years and it still looked absolutely horrendous, and undermined the original work via a readaptation that lessened major characters.
Sad. I understand Nightow gave it the stamp of approval but that only lessens my opinion of him as an author to let such a crap adaptation get a pass.
I watched the first 3 eps early as part of the screening and walking out I cannot believe how many people were willing to talk themselves into being okay with the awful choices that they very much disliked because they WANTED to like it because it was more of an IP they did like.
If you have to trick yourself into believing you like something you don't....don't do that to yourself be honest about what you like and don't like, be honest about what is high quality and NOT high quality.
The ugly CGI trigun was not only a visual assault of low quality animation but a poor adaptation of the manga it claimed to be inspired by.
Tristamp was trash, haven't seen worst writing and directing in a looong time
ОтветитьTRASH
ОтветитьTrigun Stampede is amazing!
I'm waiting for season 2
Joey´s hands look so pretty
ОтветитьFrom OG Trigun fans to any OG Trigun fans who still havent seen Stampede, give chance and watch it!
It has the best CGI animation in the industry. every minor gesture of characters are animated well. VFX and SFX are topnotch.
And the finale is satisfying, tied to the OG trigun!
Trigun Stampede was fantastic. It honestly surprised me since I'm someone thats skeptical about CGI animation in anime.
ОтветитьI really hope you see this - Stampede is one of the most beautiful anime I have ever seen! And episode 12 was one of the best episodes of anime I have seen in ages - the animation is just STUNNING, the soundtrack, the voice acting - it was all absolutely genius - it is so sad that some OGs are so fixed on not giving it a chance for stupid reasons that this anime is being slept on by so many people - it deserves all the praise
Ответитьnever realized they went that deep into scifi genre logic for this anime. have to fully check it out now.
ОтветитьMost underrated anime ever. People that brushed it off due to cgi don’t deserve it’s greatness. Finish the last episode and you’ll realize the genius behind the start of this new trigun. Can’t wait for season 2!
ОтветитьThe original Trigun is still way better.
Ответить5 years? Totally worth it. Trigun Stampede was fucking awesome. As a die hard OG fan, Stampeded was fantastic.
ОтветитьWhere’s NGNL season 2
ОтветитьHoly cow this is interesting. Can't believe I missed a whole podcast where they had a studio Orange employee come on board. Gonna go watch rn
ОтветитьI'm watchin it now and godDDAMN it's good! Defenitely giving me more of the feels in this version.
ОтветитьWell, it's Japan and business so alcohol is definitely involved.
Ответитьi need the concept art book so bad
Ответить...if they ever release an art book or concept design book. I WILL BUY IT🤭🤠
ОтветитьI could not get past like episode 6 of the origina trigun. I found it to very boring.
ОтветитьOn the topic of concept art books, those are some of my favorite books to buy for series I love I am always looking for them since there may be some out there for series I love that I just wont know about.
ОтветитьBetween Trigun and Tears of the Kingdom, it couldn't be more clear that good working conditions and plenty of time leads to amazing products. Wish studios didn't care about pumping out game after game or anime after anime just to make a quick buck and instead focused on making fewer, more amazing experiences. I think it's far more important for a product to be something people talk about for many years than something people talk about for the first couple months then forget entirely.
ОтветитьCan you at least put the info of your host in the description? Or are we supposed to know everyone you get into the podcast?
