Are these cells 100ah each or?…
ОтветитьDont be such a snob.
ОтветитьThat was a fun video. Watched it 2 or 3 times. Not fair I can't give multiple thumbs up 👍
ОтветитьI got the cheapest 48v 30Ah lituim for my solar charging ebike setup. Told the seller if they test less then 15Ah ill be looking for a refund and ill even send them back. This would be a good setup though for my trailers power bank. I use lead acid right now as im on disability and lead acid don't hold a charge very long after dark :(
ОтветитьThey might be just bent, becaused travelled half of the globe, and you just hate them....
ОтветитьLol
You even enjoy building junkers..
Great video.
Cells are usually 4$ for LG Samsung so who ever is buying those batteries for 600+ should just shot themselves in the head
Al joke aside that battery homemade from premium cells should be around 200$ max with bms
I saw a Himassi 200 AH battery with low temp protection and blue tooth on Amazon $499. Sounds too good to be true, anyone with any feedback or thoughts on this battery? I live in L.A. so low temp not so important but I also want bluetooth, I want to use it as an acessory battery on a boat? This seems to check the boxes but the price is so reasonable it made me wonder how they can sell at this price?
Ответитьcan you comment on carrying lifep04 onto planes? Given the limits of 100Wh capacity, how do you establish (?manufacturers certificate?) the capacity of these cells for purposes of travel (ie a disassembled battery that can be reassembled at the destination) Thanks Doug
Ответитьwish you did more of this. I have a few questions on testing and now need to build a 72v build for a golf cart and really could use an advice....
ОтветитьWhich seller on AliExpress will you recommend to buy LiFePO4 cells from?
Ответитьgood evening do you charge them with a car battery charger?
ОтветитьHey I'm looking to switch my 125cc pit bike to electric and I have no idea where to start... I know I need a brushless motor, controller, battery, throttle connection etc....any idea where to start? I'm trying to get it to 50-55 mph ....I'm thinking 72v, 3000w battery and the appropriate controller....any thoughts or places to start would be greatly appreciated
ОтветитьHey mate do you have a link to these “eve” cells you mentioned at the start?
ОтветитьIf you want cheap cells, they have some 320ah cells for about 140 dollars (140 for a 4 pack). Joking aside I had seen them and was quite curious about whether they were a scam. I assume it is to some extent, and after watching your video I was wondering if there was a way to vent the gasses/change the electrolyte
ОтветитьI saw a 2pc lifepo4 battery that's $40
ОтветитьI would love to hear if you ever used these for anything, and how they held up if you did
ОтветитьJust one more awesome piece of education from Will! Great job Will!!
ОтветитьYeah, I am a year late but, when someone store these cells externally and with proper copper wires to common bus bar, it can works for few years without trouble, especially when the system voltage would be 48V (14S) and therefore currents four times lower. OR am I wrong Will? :-)
ОтветитьSo are you trying to sell that battery?
ОтветитьI am currently sitting on 16-280Ah batteries for $550, and 16-320Ah batteries for $650. All from AliExpress. These are all 3.2v cells. Too good to be true?
ОтветитьBought more than 20pcs 3400mah littokala 18650 batteries for 2$ each and they are amazing for the price (I tested for capacity). 99% of Ultrafire batteries are fake. Most fakes comes into a some kind of battery pack since its more difficult to test them for true capacity.
Tip about 18650 cells before buying is weight of a cell (decent single cell weights more than 40 grams) and capacity (it should be less than 3600mah as its pretty much a limit with current chemical technology and anything above that is a lie).
If you can prove your batteries are not as described, you can easily get your money back. I got like 20 ultrafire batteries for free like that but they are shi*ty.
Great channel.
ОтветитьHi, am setting up a solar energy for my business, I dont need much backup time probably 2hrs backup time is enough. But I do need alot of power to carry over 25 laptops. here in this part of Nigeria, the sun is not a problem, He have about 5-6 hours of sunlight. Please recommend a battery, solar panels and inverter. Thanks
ОтветитьThey are swelled because you put too many electrons into them😎
ОтветитьDoes anyone know if this inverter is any good it’s called Luyuani 5000 watts
ОтветитьWould love to see a newer review as prices have come down, I see 32 200ah batteries for under $2500 on aliexpress, that's 20kwh.
Ответить"not a bomb" ... too damn funny! 😂
ОтветитьWhat is so great about the lithium batteries
ОтветитьI can’t understand the reasoning when someone sees an agm 100aH $200…. And a lithium 100aH $600…..and says it oh the lithium is def worth it
ОтветитьThis guy should be working in a big company, quality control ✌️
ОтветитьHow old are they, never trust Chinese vendors ever period. It’s a crap shoot no question. Probably cycled a thousand times.
Ответитьhi all. are there any guides, web sites or ? that will tell me how to replace lead batteries with lifepo4 in a ups environment. I have a tripp-lite apc-1250 that is connected to servers and hm. theather electronics. I have a 200 Amp hr sli agm that is pushing 25 years old.
thanks
OH YEAH U R RIGHT. 221 is great price. My friend went to buy battery at Orelly. they charge him or lead acid for my Uncle car's battery 12v for over 200 dollars which would last only about 2-4 years. 5 if u r lucky. with this Lifpo. it would last over 10 years if BMS not fail. But then. you would have to put it in the battery box.
ОтветитьI have been contemplating using cells like those but i was thinking of at least 50ah cells
ОтветитьWhere do you get you BMS at and what size wires do you use for the low cut off???
ОтветитьHi DIY Solar Power, i know this is an old video but i just started my own solar-project in the middle of Sweden :). I saw your video for this brand after i bought my batteries :). I just bought 16pieces of 3,2 volts 310Ah LiFepo4 from this manufacturer branded as new Grade A batteries.... And the price is, inc vat and shipping from Italy, 2188,64 SEK, 1SEK is currently approx 0.11USD ... Lets see what i get :)
ОтветитьDo you have the links to the Eve cells ?
ОтветитьUr paying tax on ali express? Weird
ОтветитьNow that I saw your other video about new batts sold by company in Florida I won’t order from Ali ~ too many horror stories.
Ответитьyou can put way smaller terminal screws on that. thats super low volt like 3.2 v
ОтветитьYes it is garbage. I just received 90AH from the seller and the maximum what I get from the batteries is 50Ah. I’ve spent several days but was not able to balance them.
ОтветитьSame voltage doesn't mean equal charge of each cell though, they will all be imbalanced if the charge % isn't the same right? So could you drain them all in parallel and charge back up?
ОтветитьTax? On an overseas purchase under 3000 dollars?
ОтветитьCant find Them anywhere under 700€, for 12v 220ah (4 cells)...
ОтветитьThanks 🙏
ОтветитьWhere to get this ??
ОтветитьWould it be better to use multiple smaller cells? To allow better cooling ? 3x 100 ah cells over a single 300ah cell?
Has anyone had a swollen cell fail?
