Is real money the only way to achieve the in game currency or can you earn it in game. If so how long would it take to earn 1 titan without using any real world cash.

Should have probably waited a bit to post this. 70+ Titans where destroyed leading up to a loss of about 11 Trillion Isk. Which equates to about 350K USD

Man, would've liked to see that battle.

Even though I haven't plaid this game I just love to hear things like this, it just sound so awesome and I love the concept but it sadly isn't really my genre

I think we need more MMOs like this that truly encourage player interaction and have strong motivators to make these kinds of unscripted epic events happen.

Being formerly in the CFC I can tell you it sounds epic but shit like this where titans are destroyed in a real battle (not a gank) happens literally only once a year....

I'm laughing of how amazingly epic this sounds, I wish the MMO I play had a war of epic proportion and end up on the gaming news.

It's more like 300k in real world money and over 60+ titans on the losing side and only close to 20 on the winning side, keep in mind titans are worth around 3-5k in real world money and can take months for even the most experienced players to build.
