I was interested. I watched this teaser. Now I'm less interested. The character models look great. the vehicles and stuff look like garbage. 1950's tech they tried to make look "futuristic". And the VA/vO and foley seems like it's going to be terrible. Not something I want to suffer through.

Netflix, Blacks - check, Lesbians- check, Interracial sex - check. White men = evil - check, horrible writing check, disgusting art - check. Blackrock funds on the way.

Visuals are great, but this ad is underwhelming.

Everything doesn't have to be 3D animation I like my Gundam anime thank you very much

That's legit one of the WORST trailers I've ever seen.
For real. The show might be OK and it probably has fans of the franchise who like this, but the editing here is really bad.

That female character with that femiyahzy-like hairstyle really bothers me. I fear it'll be woke. I want my concerns to be completely unfounded. The battle scenes do look quite impressive. If Requiem for Vengeance wouldn't be a UC side story, but a new original story that took place in a brand new alternate universe, I'd be less worried. Let's hope for the best. But prepare for the worst! My enthusiasm has been chastened. Gundam works best as an anime in my opinion.

To those who try to falsely and ridiculously claim that Gundam was always woke, here's a reminder: Gundam was never woke right from the beginning, due to wokeness being less than 10 years old.

Despite the fact that Gundam always has been racially, ethnically, sexually diverse for a long time, such superficial properties are completely irrelevant. Those who claim otherwise don't have a clue about Gundam. Additionally, Gundam was never ever about anti-fascism, anti-authoritarian or anti-capitalism, despite Tomino's politics being rather left-leaning. Wokies obviously want to confuse nuance and actual progressivism with modern day wokeness, which is (to remind everyone again) less than 10 years old and talks down on people. Gundam always has been and always will primarily be about the epic story of war and survival along with its casualties.

Nevertheless, I hope that the story and the characters in this instalment will be well-written and that my concerns will turn out to be completely baseless. Fingers crossed!

I initially thought before watching the trailer that the gundam was made by blue cosmos considering the name requiem (a CE superweapon).

Cool. More “anime” that looks like another compilation of muddy boring video game cutscenes. Can’t wait to not watch this.
