For someone working at an apple factory in china that is there monthly salary 2000 yuan.
Ответитьgshopper and aliexpress work fine for me. temu and wish are shit
ОтветитьThat is insane value for 300 usd, tells me how jacked prices are in the US. Velly Good indeed.
Ответитьwowowow
ОтветитьI feel sorry for the people who've lost their barber.
ОтветитьI almost didn't watch this video cause of the title. Only reason i am here is because someone on reddit mentioned its worth watching.
ОтветитьAs a Chinese this seems about right 😂
ОтветитьYou guy have Mike Myers working for you !!
ОтветитьWell, I finally know where I can once again buy that $1.5 "Razer" mousepad I once owned.
ОтветитьI'm a disabled gamer with no income My computer is an older I7 with 11 gigs of ram and my video card is a built in intel 2000 video card like all my equipment it was rebuilt with my own two hands I wish I had even one of you computers with a 19060 I would be really happy 😊 😊 Also big fan of your channel
ОтветитьWait.... who stole my original razer pad wicj was like 50 dollars
ОтветитьAnyone else notice the “channels” tab isn’t there on LTT anymore(at least on mobile)? What’s up with that?
ОтветитьHDMI to VGA adapter included is essentially a memorial piece. And it's so thoughtful. Certain games i absolutely have to play on older monitors (CRT) are vga not hdmi. so the inclusion of this adapter is really like getting a stocking stuffer present. Very thoughtful of them.
ОтветитьThis seller is obliviously doing the one time business thing.... As a budget pro Gaming PC myself in China. I will just go to a set of 2nd-hand previous Gen Ryzen or i5 with reliable brand motherboard+previous gen Graphic card. And some Teir-2 local brand (kinda reliable with sales service) SSD and power supply unit, maybe even RAM with carefully checked detailed spec and reviews . and go with the same budget...
ОтветитьYou can't compare prices with USA. Chinese people don't get paid in dollars.
ОтветитьI wonder what the users on Bilibili say about the video.
Taobao is the place I go to if I need parts for super small Mini-ITX builds. Bought an Alla U1 case for my dense 5600X + RX6600 daily. Paired an SKTC TX01 case with pre-cut I/O holes for an HM76 motherboard I also bought there.
First thing he says and it's already definitely wrong. Before I started watching this channel, I'm not sure I'd heard of ANY of those sites. Maybe Wish, but only in passing. And if I didn't know, there's a good chance no one in my family did.
ОтветитьId be overly nervous to plug that spy-bomb into my network even if you paid me lol (Me, a dude in midwest US. Not a Chinese national where this makes sense to use the stock SSD install)
ОтветитьFriend of mine bought an old workstation a couple of weeks ago for £150, when it arrived it had a 3080ti in it
ОтветитьUnfortunately in Indonesia the tax ia so high, so it's not worth it anymore
Ответить“VellyGood” 😂
ОтветитьVery minor quibble, not something that really needs a correction, but China uses the Yuan, not the Yen. The Yen is Japanese.
Ответитьbuilt out a system running a HUANANZHI X99 QD4 LGA-2011 motherboard with a E5-2670V3 and 16GB of ram (bought from aliexpress) with a used eBay Purchased Sapphire RX 5600XT 8GB video card and a cheap 1TB Gen3 NVME SSD drive (that I also bought off aliexpress). It has very similar performance to this machine. My total cost was just over two hundred dollars not counting the Mid tower ATX desktop case with a 450W PSU I recycled from a microcenter prebuilt PC from work that had a dead motherboard in it. I wanted to try out ChimeraOS to build myself a home-brew steam PC to play games on. It fits the bill nicely for that usage so far for everything I have tested. I did use one of those Russian modified bios files to undervolt the CPU a bit that also fixed the issues with incorrect sensor readings for temperatures and that also fixed the power management features that don't work correctly on the stock bios that came on the board.
Ответитьi bought their i3-4370 Lmao
ОтветитьTo be precise Linus, should have mentioned that Cisco also makes servers, and that memory most likely comes from a Cisco server rather than a switch since these usually don't require that much ram, even really high end ones with removable/expandable memory
ОтветитьIts funny how americans always talk shit about webpages like aliexpress, but they actually have great products if you know how to search for them. A lot of "reputable" brands from US actually are just dropshipping from those pages.
The only problem with LTT videos is that they need to be entertaining... so they buy a lot of bad products just for the memes.
Linus is so much out of ideas that turns to giving money to CCP?
ОтветитьIt should be 2000 Yuan not Yen right? 2000 yen is only 14$
ОтветитьSwear I watched this over a week ago
Ответитьi want linus to show up to my house and redo my clothes with ltt merch. a series called "linus pimps out a wardrobe". he shows up to random fans houses and gives out merch since they spent all their money on computer parts. the more pc parts you buy the more ltt merch you get.
Ответить"Russian tech enthuasiasts" He says while showing an obviously ukrainian forum given the fact that they list prices in hryvnia and not rouble. Luckily the ltt team wont be venturing into foreign policy realms any time soon id assume lmao.
Ответитьlol
Ответитьwell u still underestimate what these unscrupulous merchants could do, and all these part of pc we may buy it only in less 150$😂,these kind of tricks going like this: they set a web store and by selling rubbish as so called "high configuration" and without detailed description like only shows "24 thread" without saying it's a freaking chips produced in 2014,then when u receive that piece of sh* they shut that web store and set another
ОтветитьThe ram isn't just ECC but it's Registered Dimm (RDIMM) too interestingly which is easy to spot with the register [the rectangular chip] in the middle. RDIMM 2133mhz is going for dirt cheap online on the second hand market.
ОтветитьI guess this chips and boards are perfect example of good reusability
ОтветитьIm from austria, and here we can get used PCs with a Ryzen 2600 and 1060 6G at any time for roughly 300€ (330$). If you look around some you might even get a machine with a 1070 for the same price. i think a good gaming experience really doesnt have to cost over 400 (including monitor and everything). Theres so many games on the market that will run fine on a 300-400$ pc setup, that buying new hardware in that price range is almost never a good deal.
ОтветитьSo it's 600 USD for a non-chinese buyer. Not bad either way(?), don't get me wrong, but neither are you nor am I a chinese, so then why are you marketing it as 300 USD?
ОтветитьBTW "Slark", who you used in your screenshot, is Ukrainian (do you think Russia uses hryvnia?). Don't call them Russian, their country is at war with Russia!
Ответитьi got the same keyboard and mouse as a cheap package on amazon and i immediately switched to an old office mouse and keyboard, its not ideal but its certainly better than that keyboard and mouse
Ответитьlinus thinking someone with a budget of 600$ will most likely have an HDMI monitor. lmao
Ответитьthose old xeon cpus are really good and often ship with a mainboard and sometimes even ram like in your setup there. its really nice to buy that and some other cheap stuff, maybe a really really cheap whole pc from ebay just to use the PSU, case and drive and just slap the bundle in there, grab a used 1080(ti) in there and enjoy. if you are lucky its sometimes possible to get a bit newer chips so the supported features like m.2 or pcie are better and the single core performance may also be a bit better. but its always hard to judge if its better than buying a dell optiplex and just slapping a gpu in there (or maybe also a better psu if neccessary). it all depends on goals, budget and the price changes over time. big effort to search and hunt but also big savings
ОтветитьIs there any chance that these cheap pcs are running virus software?
ОтветитьI wouldnt say it was the mouse that made it feel bad but the screen tearing more.
Ответить"While we didn't go out of our way to monitor for it, it doesn't seem to be calling home in any particular way"
So you have no clue whether it's calling home. Then why suggest it doesn't? Heck I'd be surprised if a security service DOESN'T contact home servers, question is WHAT it sends. So making these sort of remarks without doing analysis is guesswork at best, and misleading at worst:(
Low quality whats?
ОтветитьIt's possible Tanner was having trouble getting into the bios with a USB keyboard because he was trying to use the USB 3.0 slots. Depending what controller it uses and how it communicates with the chipset USB 3.0 may not be active until the desktop. It's like this on a few of my AM3+ motherboards and is disclosed in the motherboard manuals.
ОтветитьI wonder if you would get diffrent specs if you used an uncracked version of windows.
Ответить
