The plot hole nobody sees is that Sulus ship was the one charting gaseous anomalies, so how did the equipment get to the Enterprise before Sulu?
ОтветитьChang was a patriot.
Ответить"Fly her apart, then!" is also what I say to my friend trying to hit the top speed in his second-hand Honda Civic
Ответить"Live long and prosper Spock!" Well miss you forever!
ОтветитьI saw it in the movies when it came out. Epic. Truly the best of the TOS movies IMO.
Ответить" I'd give real money if he'd shut-up !" Bones 😂 I was lucky enough to have a down-to-earth mother just like him.
ОтветитьLots of Clingon's floating in space !!😂😅
ОтветитьSaw this in the theater with my bro the year before we started getting laid. Good times.
ОтветитьOne of the Best Star Treks of all time!!!
Ответить🗣📢✝️
A sinful life destroys everything righteous in your life and separates you from holy God! If you die a sinner, God will punish you with eternal hellfire and darkness! Repent of your sinful lives and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ!
Romans 1:16-32
King James Version
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
I've always wondered if the Federation is more advanced with their technology, why don't they have cloaking ability for their ships?
ОтветитьNo way was this "THE Battle of Khitomer."
ОтветитьMaybe it's just me, but I would have taken evasive maneuvers.
ОтветитьBrilliant climatic scene
ОтветитьThe most underrated of TOS movies, don't care what the haters say.
ОтветитьThe Golden days of ILM is correct! Industrial Light and Magic, Jim Henson Productions, and Stan Winston. Never again will there be the like of these. Special Effects Wizards.
ОтветитьI applauded when the bird of prey exploded in the theater in 1991.
Ответить"I'd give real money if he'd shut up!"
ОтветитьGod I love Sulu as a captain!
ОтветитьCrazy that they made two Star Trek movies before this that didn't have a single space battle.
ОтветитьWhy couldn’t they just target where the bright red torpedo launched from? 😂
Ответить“Target that explosion and fire!” Will always give this Trek Nerd chills….
ОтветитьA 'sploshun so great we got it twice!
Ответить🖖😎👍Very cool indeed and truly most definitely one of the very best scenes of the whole movie 🎬 !.
ОтветитьThis is a great battle, the only mistake they made imo is not having the enterprise at least try to take a few pot shots in the various directions of where the bird of prey's torpedoes originated from.....especially when we see Uhura trying to locate where Chang's coms transmissions were coming from. With her help and using a visual gauge they should have came close but just missed and Chang could remark how Kirk is such a great warrior or something....... It should not have taken until Nemesis till a starship is able to dumb fire at a cloaked vessel.
ОтветитьFly her apart then!
ОтветитьThe late great Christopher Plummer
ОтветитьAhhh, the Bird of Prey that put on such an impressive display that every single one constructed afterwards by the Klingon Defense Force was designed to blow up in exactly the same manner.
ОтветитьI miss these times. Before the Left ruined escapism.
ОтветитьThe way Excelsior was shaking, Sulu desperately pushing the ship way beyond maximum warp to reach his friends in time. It was a moment that hit for me.
Yeah, that was a good scene 👌 Triumphant. The Enterprise wins again. 🏆
ОтветитьThe Battle of Khitomer and the Battle of the Mutara Nebula are among the best battles in all of Star Trek. The Battle of Wolf 359 and the Dominion Assault on the Alpha Quadrant are right there too.
ОтветитьHad the pleasure of meeting Nichelle Nicols at a Star Trek con and managed an autograph with the words " its got to have a tailpipe"
She filled a whole page
Wonderful lady and ill never forget that moment
I wish they could have added a phaser barrage from both Federation ships as well as torpedoes. In the words of Nero, "FIRE EVERYTHING!!!"
ОтветитьI can't get enough of watching this awesome battle scene !!!!!!!
The Undiscovered Country is the best Star Trek Enterprise film since the Wrath of Khan !
The 2 greatest Star Trek Enterprise movies are Wrath of Khan and The Undiscovered Country !!!!
After The Voyage Home which in my opinion, the "Voyage Home" movie sequel was a nice hokey family fun heart warming "save the whales" "environmental save the planet" meme movie story script for the audience enjoyment, but as a Star Trek mission script, it was terrible, and after The Final Frontier disaster, "The Undiscovered Country" of the Star Trek Enterprise crew, Star Trek returned back to it's core mission which is what it's supposed to be about, about facing reality truth about your enemies, as well as about your perceived friends.
Live Long and Prosper !
I can't get enough of watching this awesome battle scene !!!!!!!
The Undiscovered Country is the best Star Trek Enterprise film since the Wrath of Khan !
The 2 greatest Star Trek Enterprise movies are Wreath of Khan and Undiscovered Country !!!!
All other movies in the Star Trek series movies are luke warm to garbage.
4 HITS AND THE BIRD OF PREY IS DESTROYED, MEANWHILE THE ENTERPRISE GOT HIT MORE AND GOT ALLOT LESS DAMAGED.
ОтветитьI'm glad they programmed that torpedo not to circle back to Enterprise.
Ответить"Excelsior's been hit!"
Good job, Lt. Obvious
This battle is relatively minimal in terms of special effects and yet it is one of the tensest, most well-done battle scenes in all of Trek. Amazing.
ОтветитьAfter this Kirk should have reapplied for his Rear Admiral position
ОтветитьYou know what would really help this entire scene? 10,000 shuttlecraft and lens flares....
God I miss Star Trek, and god damn you Alex Klutzman.
One thing I never understood …starfleet knew about and studied cloaking technology for years but noone thought of the exhaust/ burnt gases thing until this moment?!
