I managed to place some 1.5mm generic thermal pads to get rid of the doubt if my video card was dead and in the end it worked for me! Thank you so much
Now I am going to change them for higher performance ones and I need to know if it is necessary to change all the pads or if it is enough to change only those of the memories, that is, only those around the GPU. Thanks

Hey bro! I did everything i saw in these video but my temp didnt change… i use it for mining and the hash rates are still low and temp its norm but wattage its higher then the rest of the cards.

Any idea what it may be that new thermal pads didnt improve my stats on the card?

Thanks for making this - it helped greatly in replacing those pads… I saw roughly a 20c drop, I’ll be running some tests tomorrow to get a better picture of the differences.

Thanks for the video! I am about to start working on replacing the thermal pads on various Geforce RTX 3090 of different brands: MSI, Asus, Palit, Gigabyte...
I would like to make sure that the thickness of the pads will be right for those cards, considering that they come from different brands. I read online that (1,5mm) is good enough. What do you recommend?

What brand cable are you using for the 12 pin to the GPU? The stock one is ugly lol. I like the white one you have and it’s more uniform. If you have a link for it that would be great.
