Xiaomi Watch S1 Active 1 Month Review: ONE MAJOR ISSUE.

Someone please tell me what other watches are ~$150, have GPS and NFC payment options and similar in design (possibly a little bit smaller, ~43mm, instead of 46-47mm). Thanks

Freezes up, compatibility issues with Xiaomi phone etc

I have a problems with activity tracking cos when I start running ,the watch hang after couple of minutes and stops save any data from my activity, I must to reset it and nothing is saved .... I am bit dissapointed cos I thing Xiaomi just packed to this watch so many features but forgot to test this watch propertly before launch the selling them .... for me it is nothing more than a toy, or casual watch, it is not a sport watch for monitoring your activity. I will purchase a Polar for this purpose probably, this watch is rubbish for me. Not worth of the money. I can only say Xiaomi Band is a way better in monitoring acrivity than those "watch". I belive the problem may be in internal GPS. Why the hell this watch is not able to use smartfone GPS like their Bands ?

O have one question about notification. On my old gear s 3 when i have a missing call or any other notification than on main screen on the edge i got yellow dot if i touch it that i fikkow to notification. Is here the same? Or any new massage open directly on screen or you have to open yourself notification page to check if you get something?

These garbage Xiaomi watches won't connect to phone unless you grant it many permissions and turn on location on your phone. I rarely use location and normally keep it off to save battery, so why would I have to turn it on every time I want to connect this damn watch with my phone? This was the main reason, I stopped using my Xiaomi watch in switched to Huawei band instead which connects with my phone just in a matter of seconds.

Can you text and make phone calls from your watch or is it possible only with the Xiaomi S1 model please?

After using Xiaomi s1 smart watch watch for month I can't recommend it for it's price.
Two annoying things:
1) it randomly turns on screen once or twice in an hour even when raise to wake is disabled;
2) sometimes notifications are without sound with vibration only on daily bases.
Bought it for 230 euros. I think I'd better go with Xiaomi smart band 7 Pro.

Does someone had battery issue? Mine just 2-3days on from 100 percent

I've been trying to unlock the screen of my Mi 9T with this smartwatch,is suposed that all smartwatches have this option (smartlock, or off-wrist lock). I can't find this option in the "Mi fitness" aplication (official Xiaomi App available for the S1 active). If I try to set the smartlock directly from the phone settings, It doesnt detect my S1 active by bluetooth. Can anybody please help me? I will be really gratefull, this function is mandatory for me :(

Another sad point is that if you receive a whatsapp message or a normal message , if there's an emoji it will be black / white colored.
If you receive a message you can see it , the watch does not "save" the message

Xiaomi products are trash in the long run.
