The whole theory about Marika and Radagon being the same being (pun) shies away completely from the fact that they have separate wills.
For me it became quite simple since I've first learned the entire story. Radagon was just a champion related to fire giants (hence his desire to CHANGE - he didn't want to be related to them), and Marika made him divorce Renalla to marry him himself. Why he couldn't refuse? Because it could be either a blackmail (don't agree = new war is ahead) or but a direct order from the overlord. Why Marika wanted to marry him so bad? It seems like people just don't want to talk about the possibility that she was, well, extremely attracted to him. So extremely, in fact, to leave her first husband and LATER merge Radagon with herself in order to make him an immortal god -- by that, also, locking him in an eternal abusive relationship. Radagon tried to fix the Elden Ring exactly because him and Marika ARE NOT the same living being.

I think radagon and Marika are brothers and sisters hence why their children came out with imperfections but still great power or they are both related some how .

Just ask yourself when he came along and what transpired after. It’s was Marika. Marika is never mentioned at all when it comes to the Cairns.

The egg, Marika used the egg to change into Radagon, unfortunately I’m not sure why Radagon left it. Maybe to keep Marika dormant as long as possible.

Though this comment is not related to to radagon I am confused by effects of celestial dew which essentially mean that we can repair any bond with any npc so when we tend to inherit frenzy flame and use miquela s needle to leave the flame why can’t we use celestial dew to mend our relationship with melina

I'm going to go out on a limb and propose that the misbegotten with Radagon's sword is either Radagon himself or a failed reincarnation. There's an obvious connection between the Leonine Misbegotten and Radagon. Consider how all of Rennala's minions also appear to be reincarnations of the same person, possibly herself. I don't think it was by coincidence that Radagon gave her the egg, and I don't think people take seriously the ramifications of doing something like that. I'm fairly sure she would be the only person to technically be gifted a Great Rune who isn't a child of either Radagon or Marika. I say technically, since the rune is in the egg and not truly hers, as is the case with the other demigods. I don't know why radagon would seek to clone himself, but I can only assume that he had his reasons. It's also entirely possible that his and Rennala's children are the products of this process, than their biological offspring; or perhaps a product of them producing offspring following his reincarnation. It's also interesting how he supposedly learned magic but never uses any. Regardless, I think it's VERY possible and VERY likely that the children of Radagon and Marika specifically WERE produced using a method like this and can be regarded as imperfect reincarnations of both of them. Note the interesting shift, as Miquella has blonde hair and Melania has red hair, one being a great warrior and the other being this mysterious sorcerer-type entity.

I don't think it's possible to understand the dynamic between Radagon and Marika, who were probably always one single entity, without understanding the role played by Rennala and the egg.

Lastly, I believe Ranni is the youngest of Rennala and Radagon's children. It also never stated that she suffered any particular affliction. Yet she "renounced her flesh" all the same, possibly being the perfect demigod. Is it not worth considering that Radagon/Marika wanted to gain access to the most powerful sorcerer in existence in order to perfect this process of creating demigods or reincarnating so that they (as a collective entity) could have children? How else would they do it, assuming they never were separate beings who fused? And how would Marika have created another self, if not through the use of reincarnation?

what if in some ways radagon knew what will happend to his son miquella and gave the rune of Rebirth to Renala in hope that she can gave it miquela in order for him to Reborn correctly, we know that children born with the rune are fagile but what if we use this rune on a demigod like Miquela ?

I understand the Radagon has aways been Marika, and the Renalla/Godfrey relationships had political reasons beneath. After they were resolved, Marika and Radagon reunited

Personally, I think the Greater Will trapped Marika and Radagon in the same body as punishment for failing them: Marika betrayed the Golden Order and Radagon failed to stop her.

Reminds me of the holy trinity how theyre all supposed to be one but its a mystery as to how thats possible

That makes his plight so much more tragic. This man was happily married, only to be meddled with by an outer God. Then his kid screws things up even more causing his new betrothed to screw things up even more. I imagine every time The Greater Will took more and more of Radagon's free will to the point that he is stripped of his personality near completely when attempting to fix the elden ring.

Casting aside aggression to marry rennala wasn't saying he regretted his aggressive acts just that he changed to marry his love regret would mean he'd cast aside the golden order since HE DID WHAT HE DID IN THE NAME OF THE GOLDEN ORDER not because he wanted glory for himself

I wonder if Radagon's forced parting from Rennala via the Greater Will played any part in Ranni's intense dislike of the notion of being "controlled by that thing." We can see Blithe actively lose control of himself, becoming horribly unfamiliar and lacking in the ability to enforce his will, and Iji predicted this would happen. Whether or not it's true that the Greater Will took Radagon away from Rennala, it certainly lends very personal credence to the necessity of Ranni's actions to sever herself from its control.

Genuine advice that I use to understand the symbolism used in Elden Ring and beyond:
Gender is not an exclusive trait, as we are often taught, and Elden Rings story is one that highlights that feature by showing images of vastly different mindsets of the same person as being in vastly different states of appearance. While restoring the ring he destroys her doing, while she destroys the ring she restores opportunity, in a sense.
Both the masculine form and feminine form create and destroy, but they only do so meaningfully while doing so together. They must be one.

And btw, "children" doesnt have to mean more than "bore an idea into the world" for an ideal being.
She might have literal children too, but I think the focus is moreso on the nature of gods as ideas, the mortality of an idea, and therefore the mortality of god(s).

In berserk manga, (spoiler alert) the moonlight child and griphith share a single body. When the fullmoon rises, griphith changes to a totally different person which is the moonlight child. I think it is similar to this Merika and radagon situation.

I've always thought Radagon was just an a'hole, because he made Rennala love him maniacally just to use her as a tool, abandoning her to cuck Godfrey with himself. Turns out he was a pretty swell guy...

Think Raddagon is an outter God in flesh that came from Marika back when she was chosen.
Perhaps an outter god was in her and she seperated herself from it when she realized something wasnt right about the Eard Tree.

Radagon and Miquella are my favourite characters. Why? Purely because they want to help. They want change. Just like Marika did. Some others don't care too much, but Marika did this only to change the entire thing. Radagon wanted to help bring peace, order and happiness to his land, while Marika thought that it was beyond saving, and so decided to try and destroy the Order.

I believe that after defeating the Gloam Eyed Queen, Marika gave up a part of herself. Separating her personality prior to her ascension to godhood by the greater will. Off from her soul and flesh to persue the goals of her reign in a war on two fronts. Facing the fire giants to the north simultaneously with the Carian Kingdom of Liurnia in the south. The only two potential threats left.
Bereft of those aspects I believe Marika became disillusioned with the greater will. In Marikas own words "Oh Radagon, leal hound of the golden order. You are yet to be me, you are yet to become a god."

I'll be ignoring all the lore and choosing to believe that radagon is patches

I think Radagon was suffering the same way Blaidd did. He fell in love with his enemy to the point of having children with her but since he was a creature of the Greater Will he was forced to do its bidding. Rebelling agaisnt the Greater Will seems to be the theme of the game yet Radagon couldnt do it.

I say that radagon and Marika had kids like this. Radagon “spermed” in a cup and Marika used it like how people who withdrew semen from a sperm bank used it.
