Best gun out there , iwata supernova series 2 clear and sata rp1.2 I for clear end of story , and i been doing restoration and top cars .

Sinceramente he quedado muy desepcionado de este modelo y lo peor no hay garantía en algo que no es barato desde un principio tuve problemas con ella el material como que lo escupe y no hay uniformidad le cambié la parte que el representante de Sata me recomendó y sigue igual además he preguntado a varios pintores que tienen este modelo y tienen el mismo problema. Tuve que comprar otra pero ahora una nueva Iwata Super Nova. No la recomiendo

Finally brought the X5500 1.3 0 rp digital Monday spray glasruit clear 27 psi when on like glass full fan reduced overspray compared to my other satas. Already brought the 5500hvlp 1.4 I digital for base coat a year ago these gun has a wide fan pattern can go wrong purchasing one of these guns it’s on the expensive side an not to fancy the swivel end was the only negative on them

Which x5500 do you recommend for candy paint and silvers

Have you ever used a satajet 5500x 1.4o or 1.4i. For clearcoat

Iwata supernova 1.3 doesn't flow well even if 1.2i of sat5500 is more united than Iwata supernova 1.3?

What products are you spraying

Hi Tony, is it worth the upgrade from a sata jet 4000 1.3rp ? I think I would stay with a “O” as this is what I am used to. I use a VHS clear it’s glasurit but in BMW colour system and it’s called multi clear

I must say I bought the SATA 5000 rp and I wish I didn't. Hopefully the 5500x that I get to try in a week or so is better than the 5000. The 3000s were killer!

SATA is meant for full fluid, full fan, and for all that's holy full wide open on air micrometer on back of gun.
Adjust pressure at wall.

Indeed they are meant to be used full fluid. If someone has a tendency to dial it in, get a smaller nozzle next time.

Few questions if you have a minute spare.. currently using 1.2 gti pro for clear coat (bmw white label and spies 8034) and have used devilbiss for around 13 year but really fancy one of these for base and one for clear, I like to spray fast with my clear coat, so was wondering what kind of set up you would recommend? (kind of swaying to 1.3 I setup for clear) base coat I’m unsure and eagerly waiting your review on it..

Would you say this is better than the 5000 rp? Worth an upgrade?

Hi Tony. Great video again. Please could you try the Sata 5000 plastic pot on the x5500 to see if it's the same fitting. Also have you ever tried the w400 wbx? It's one of my favourites for basecoat. Has the fan of a ws400 in the body of a bellaria. Keep up the good work.
